She is licensed in the State of Michigan and a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. Mia was awarded best massage therapist in South Lyon for 2019, 2020, and now 2021. She focuses her career on learning active stretching techniques, trigger point therapy, and studying kinesiology to help reduce pain, tension, or discomfort of her clients.

Microblading is a cosmetic tattoo that creates thin hair-like strokes on the brow line. This technique creates the look of thicker and fuller brows and lasts about 2-3 years at most without getting annual touch ups. The special tool used consists of anywhere between 12 to 18 tiny needles which are used to lightly deposit ink into the bottom layer of the epidermis on the brow line.

Mia has done such a great job with creating a very nice space. I’m trying all the different therapists and so far I’ve liked them all.
I’m contemplating having a consultation to have my brows micro bladed since talking to her about the custom colors she uses.

I am so happy I found Balance and Composure Massage and Spa in my welcome to the neighborhood packet after moving into my new home. I was having leg swelling after surgery and called them and set up an appointment and got in right away with Mia. She is very knowledgeable and helped the swelling so much- when nothing I had tried for 2 months had worked.She is amazing! Great place, easy to find, super friendly staff!

I just had my second massage by Jami after an extremely stressful school year. Jami is a very talented massage therapist and her care is impeccable. I walked out of my deep tissue massage in a haze because I felt relaxed and pain free for the first time in over a year. She uses many techniques to not only work through your trouble areas, but also to ensure you feel well taken care of. The office is very quiet and the ambience is very soothing, clean and inviting.

Great massage. FYI this is a mult business bldg complex. It sits on the second floor of the bldg.
Also Jami is a great therapist. I had been going to Irene's student clinic for over 15 years for massage therapy.. But after meeting Jami I said wherever you go I'll go. I am now happy client of Balance and Composure.
