At Heritage Funeral Home, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
Heritage Funeral Home has a variety of features that set us apart. Our beautiful chapel seats 300 in church style pews, a well maintained sound system and the ability to play Memorial DVDs during visitations. In addition we have a large family arrangement room, with comfortable seating for up to ten people.
Our staff is comprised of dedicated and licensed professionals with the experience to answer all your questions regarding our services. Please feel free to contact any of our staff members at any time. Rich, originally from Montoursville, Pennsylvania, entered the Death Care Industry as a summer intern in Shreveport, Louisiana.
At Heritage Funeral Home, we want to make arrangements simple for you. Mr . Lionel Noel (General Manager) was outstanding. He did an excellent job in reaching out to our firm at John's Ridout's Elmwood Chapel in Birmingham, AL. in providing us information for a ship out for one of our decedent's that passed in Birmingham. Even though the family decided at the last minute to select another firm, we stayed in contact with each other to provide exceptional service to this family. Thank you to Lionel and Lisa they are a great team and hosted a great service for my sons funeral. I was having some difficulty putting together a slideshow for my sons funeral, Lionel stayed up late one night to get it together for us. Also Lisa was more than accommodating to all of our changes to the program even at the last minute. I recommend Heritage Funeral Home of Harker Heights to anyone that would like to give their loved ones a Great going home service.

This place completely dropped the ball . At the viewing for my husband they completely humiliated me and my family. They forgot the flowers for one and never put up his obituary. Then after several days after the viewing they finally put up the obituary and still forgot his picture with it. I had to literally cry and beg these people to go to HEB to get flowers that were part of the contract that I signed and paid for. Mind you I paid them almost $500 for the flowers to be at the viewing along side my husband’s casket but instead they ended up putting 2 vases of roses from HEB. Pretty sure they

The loss of a family member is already a difficult time and families depend greatly on the funeral home and director to help get through the process more easily. Our father passed away in Sept of 2019 and Andy was amazing. Unfortunately, our mother passed away on Aug 9th of this year. From day one of working with Lionel Noel, our experience has been awful. The viewing for our mother was shocking and we feel that our mother and each of us were left disrespected and embarrassed. All the mistakes that were made, were addressed directly with Lionel and each time we received an excuse as to why it was

I highly recommend Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights. Losing a loved one is never an easy process to navigate through. Heritage went above and beyond when my Mom passed away in 2010. My Dad passed away on Sunday, August 16th at 11:45am of this year. I told the hospital that I wanted Heritage to handle my Dads funeral. That same day I got a call from Lionel Noel that they had already picked up my Dads body from Scott and White and he was at the funeral home. I didn't even have to call them. They were the first to initiate communication. Lionel and his team were very courteous and sensitive

Mr. Pierre Cobb and his staff were some of the kindest, friendliest and most compassionate people in this business that I have met. I have been a pastor for over forty years and have had to interact with funeral staff in many towns and cites -- these guys were exceptional. They bent-over backwards to accommodate my son's family and me after the death of my son S.Sgt. Jeremy B. Puryear (Ret.). God bless you guys and thank you again for your expressions of love and concern for grieving families during their time of sorrow.

After going to another funeral home prior and leaving, they welcomed us to come in to make arrangements at a moments notice. The staff was very compassionate and treated us with the utmost respect. Heritage took care of my mother's arrangements and did an outstanding job! At all times, the folks here showed compassion and caring. There was never a phony moment. One nice touch was the quilt they put over Mother when they took the body out. Not just a stark white sheet, but a pretty quilt. They also helped by coming to me to get paperwork done and delivering my mother's ashes. All above and beyond expectations. I highly recommend this place.

Heritage Funeral Home handled my wife's arrangements in a professional and courteous manner. Rachel Dwyer did an outstanding job. She was caring and compassionate. She offered ample choices on different kinds of funeral arrangements and had a wealth of knowledge. The visitation and graveside service were exactly the kind of send off my wife would have wanted. She made a difficult process much easier for myself and my family. The costs were very reasonable and they earned every penny. They were simply superb.
