In 2016 we had a dream, to bring the martial art we love, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, to the woodland community. Regardless if you are a world champion or taking your first class, our instructors are there to help you along your way. Everyone is welcome regardless of affiliation, fitness or skill level. After a year of planning our dream is finally reality.

In 2015 Caio Terra Academy Woodland started as an idea. One day as Anabel, Jaime and their family were making the drive from Sacramento to San Jose to train with Professor Caio Terra (they drove several times a week) they thought wouldn't it be nice if there was a CTA academy closer to their home? In 2016 Jaime, who loves Jiu Jitsu, started to dream, how amazing would it be to one day open his own academy.
For those that want a longer term investment in their health we offer 1 year commitments! If you know martial art training is something you will be doing for a while, we encourage you choose this option! We offer a free 3 day trial of all our programs. If you have ever been interested in Jiu Jitsu, Self defense, or just looking for a new way to work out, we have something for you!
I traveled more than 85 miles to CTA Woodland on Saturday and had a great time. Their instructors are top-notch, very welcoming and the family atmosphere is a nice touch. The Caio Terra Academy (CTA), located in Woodland, California, is Woodlands premier martial art academy! At CTA Woodland we believe in the one team philosophy!
