I strive to develop a personal and constructive relationship with each and every one of my students. I hope to inspire individuals to take a positive and active approach in life.
I plan to be with my students every step of the way to help them reach their individual goals. Martial Arts is not just a hobby for me, it is my life! Services
Our unique Tiny Tigers program is designed to teach students much more than simply how to kick and punch. KSMY Martial Arts School is concerned with the well-being, health, and education of our children. The Tiny Tigers activities will keep children physically fit and show them the benefits of good behavior.

KSMY is a wonderful studio. I enrolled my daughter to start training via Zoom during the pandemic nearly 1 year ago per my neighbor's recommendation. We've been back in person for a couple months now and my little girl absolutely loves it. She's always excited to see Ma'am My, the owner/proprietor, who is truly a gem. Ma'am My is a master martial arts educator who provides precise feedback, but I particularly appreciate her excellent social-emotional skills--my daughter is a bit timid but has grown in her confidence in no small part due to ma'am My's care. You can go a lot of places for martial arts training, but what really sets KSMY apart is the instruction of Ma'am My. She has a gift for meeting people where they're at, whether young or old, very athletic and flexible or not so much. She is firm with her critiques but always encouraging and positive.

My son has been attending KSMY for over a year and his experience has been phenomenal. On a physical level, he is so much more coordinated and agile. Mentally, he is more confident and focused, both at school and at home. She teaches them that when you fall, you brush yourself off and keep going! 3 out of my 4 children goes here. Needless to say when my youngest is old enough he will join his siblings as well. I love Ma'am My! My children loves Ma'am My! She is by far the best instructor you will ever find. She does not just accept anyone who walks through the door and hands her a check. Our daughter started with KSMY in September, and she absolutely loves Ma'am My, Kuk Sool and all the KSMY students and family members. Our daughter has worked hard, g her first promotion this past weekend, and we could not be more proud.

The owner/instructor My Mora has a lot of family she packs into a tiny studio which makes it challenging for a family whom has a child promoting to enjoy. Her studio has a promotion that last a minimum of 2 hours long because everyone gets a promotion apparently. If you have an appointment or another engagement you may want to reschedule. I am concern with the health and safety guidelines in the "kids play area" how often do toys get cleaned. As a martial arts instructor, I found her to be passive aggressive. BEWARE!!

KSMY has now earned 6 stars!!! Just read the one star review. I knew right away who it was from, even being from "Annoymous N". Everyone who's been lucky enough to experience these parents and their out of control children can start enjoying sessions without having such disrespectful people in close proximity. Ma'am My is a very disciplined and respectful instructor. KSMY has a very family oriented program and exceptional program. My daughter attends 3 days a week and loves every minute. They also have an adult body conditioning class that is offered once a week that has truly shown results. I have been attending only 2 months and have lost 6 inches on my body. My daughter and I absolutely love KSMY!

KSMY is AMAZING and Madam My is REALLY WONDERFUL with kids & teens. Her commitment to her students, attention to detail, and level of excellence motivates her students to excel during training, as well as at school & home (she regularly checks in with parents). Strength, flexibility, and stamina. You build all three and learning how to defend yourself is a nice bonus on top of a great workout. Add My Mora's ebullient personality to the mix and a session at KSMY becomes an entertaining and rigorous hour of exercise. When we moved from East Sac to Land Park a year ago, we were looking to find a new martial arts studio for our daughter. She had attended another studio that we weren't all that happy with. I'm SO glad we discovered KSMY. Not only are you treated like family, but their structured classes instill responsibility and having to earn their belt -- something that we found many studios are not very adherent to.

My children aged 8 and 11 attend KSMY. Instructor My is wonderful. Foremost she is a natural at teaching, especially children. She is patient, yet demanding and always finds a way to make hard work fun. My is an inspirational role model for her students.
My is present at every class and each student receives lots of personal attention from her. Her senior students who assist in teaching are also patient and great teachers. K.S.M.Y Martial Arts, a place I will never forget due to their members, and the friendliness, respect, skill, and maturity. When we were researching various martial arts schools for our two daughters we knew we wanted the teacher to be a good role model for them and to be a part of a program that would build their self confidence, character and improve their focus. We got all that and so much more at KSMY! Instructor My is awesome! Our girls loved her from day one. Instructor My Mora is by far one of the most patient and experienced instructors I have practice with. She excels in all aspects of her style and is able to translate each technique with ease. I've have some martial arts experience in the past and I felt kind of neglected when it came to learning new forms and understanding what we were doing at my previous school.
Last month I took a few trial lessons at KSMY and I think I found that positive and supportive atmosphere I've been looking for. My is very knowledgeable about all the forms and history of what she is teaching. Unlike my previous schools, My is very supportive and hands on that I feel comfortable to ask her anything!
