Our goal is always to help our patients maintain their oral health and to care for and protect their natural teeth. Maintaining oral health includes good home care and regular visits to our office for preventive care, which includes oral examinations and cleanings. Even with excellent care, however, teeth and gums can be susceptible to disease, infection, cavities, cracks, or other forms of damage.
Dr. Rajan is committed to the highest standards and brings over 16 years of experience to provide the most advanced dental care available. He is a nine-time NJ Monthly Top Dentist between 2010 and 2019 in the magazine's annual survey of over 1500 peers!
Aspiring to a career in dentistry while attending college at Rutgers University, Dr. Rajan was accepted to the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, NJ, where he received a degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.), followed by a hospital residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.Dr. Rajan graduated with honors and earned membership in the national dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU).

An oral examination is a visual inspection of the mouth, head, and neck, performed to detect abnormalities. Radiographs allow for a more complete examination, helping the doctor to detect cavities, problems in existing dental restorations, gum and bone recession or other abnormal conditions within the mouth, head and neck area.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Rajan since I was a kid and have always had a great experience. Before he moved his practice to Mendham, my entire family went to Dr. Rajan when he was in central Jersey. Luck had it that we all moved to Mendham around the same time and we were able to keep going! I now live in NYC but will still come home to see Dr. Rajan as he and his team continue to take great care of my family.

The people in this office are wonderful, kind and caring. The Dentist is ahead of his time with all the new technology , which makes everything quicker , more efficient and better attention to detail. My last dentist had a grouchy receptionist with no people skills and the dentist was unprofessional. So this was a breath of fresh air to say the least! I have transferred my whole family here and couldn’t be happier! Dr.Rajan explains to you and shows you what he’s talking about so there’s never a question as to what is being said. The office is very professionally run. We had the pleasure of interacting with Cindy, Jen, Robin, Sara and Tina. All of them were wonderful.
Dr. Rajan really thinks deeply about what he hopes to achieve with his practice. It's not a rushed appointment. He clearly values meaningful interactions with his patients. Overall my family and I were very happy with our visit.

I did a lot of research before I picked a new Dentist. I got plenty of good feedback about Dr Rajan before I used his services. I am very happy with my choice and the quality of work he performs. I had a bad Dentist many years ago and had many problems. I found a great dentist and he retired, but showed me what good dentistry looks like. Since I found Dr Rajan 6-7 years ago I have inspected his work carefully and made him show me pictures of his work in detail. His work is flawless from everything I have seen. He also uses digital scanning techniques that make having a crown replaced or an implant

Dr Rajan is extremely thorough and conscientious. The entire staff is terrific. I especially appreciate all of the COVID related precautions he and the staff have adopted.
I value the care I receive from Dr Rajan so much that I followed him from his old practice to his current practice in Mendham. It's more than an hour from my home to visit his office but I never for a moment thought of finding a new dentist closer to home!

I have been a patient of Dr. Naren Rajen of Dentistry of Mendham for over 6 years now. First recommended to me by a friend who was also dealing with sleep apnea, I was one of the earliest patients to be fitted for a dental device to stop snoring.
