Our stay at the hotel was great. View was excellent. That being said there is Room for improvement. 2.5 hours for room service, food came cold. Beds were not comfortable. When we opened our balcony curtains we found crusty panties and socks. ( hotel reimbursed us 50$ for our stay) we also found food from previous visitors in our fridge.
We decided to go down to the hot tub which was so hot we couldn’t even get in. And other Patrons tried and left as well. We enjoyed the setting and friendliness but unfortunately probably will not return

It pains me to give this lovely property--located right on the Deschutes River--such a lowly YELP score. But there is a very good reason for that. Despite the very nice, scenic location, there is a lot of work to be done to pull this place together.
I always request an ADA room up close to the front of the lobby to avoid a lot of excessive walking on my bad leg. Did not have one available here, unfortunately--with my 3rd party reservation. I also like having safety bars in my bathtub or shower to lessen the worry about a slip-and-fall in an unfamiliar bathroom. Yes, these are issues for us older

This place looks no better than a motel 6, and it cost me $170 just to book the room. First is it is a Motel, not a hotel. When I tried to get my money back they said that it was prepaid and I couldn't get my money back. To top it off, there is a homeless encampment within walking distance. To top it off, they wanted to charge me an extra $50 to check in early. These people are a rip off and the lack of maintenance was appalling. Buyer beware.

Went for the weekend and was a little disappointed with the room. The view was nice but the pull out sofa was so thin you could feel the coils it sat on. The actual bed was not much better, not soft or comfortable at all. There was no parking when we checked in after 6 and when trying to order room service in the morning, within their specified hours, we were told they just don't do that. The drinks we had delivered from the restaurants were mediocre and definitely not worth the price. Would not recommend

Applied for a job 3 times, 2 phone calls and in person. Wouldn't interview me because I'm a little older. Been waitressing for a long time and great restaurant but service is better anywhere else. Meals are cold, expensive and any unusual requests have been wrong. No mayo or peppers due to allergies and meal came with both. Bad, save your money.

You're paying resort prices for an old kept up hotel.
They keep hot tub temperature unbearably hot. Husband works at a pool and was shocked at how hot the water was.
My 3 year old found an unmarked pill on the floor of our room the first night. Thank goodness my 1 year old didn't find it or else it would have ended up in his mouth... when I brought it up to the front desk lady all I got was an "Ohhh.." no apology.
Screen door to our room was off the hinges and just laying on the ground when we got there.
To top it off when we were checking in the guy behind the desk told

This is the most disgusting hotel room I have ever stayed in. The bed was disgustingly dirty. I stripped the bed down to find stains seeping through to the bottom. The bed just felt incredibly dirty with several stains. It looked like a blood stains. On top of that, the pool was extremely dirty and gross. I got Lobster Mac and Cheese at the restaurant, it was not warm. 29 dollars a plate for food that wasn't even warm. I highly suggest staying elsewhere.

Stiffest most cardboard like bed I've ever slept on, and I've probably stayed at every best western and motel 6 on the west coast. Clean rooms. Beautiful setting. The restaurant served me cold soup, admitted it was a reheat from the day before, and calling a vegetable puree soup is going a bit far. Half the menu is hidden as the "lounge menu" which you will need to ask for. No drink refill ever came. The room service desserts were good.

THIS IS THE WORST FAST FOOD IN THE USA ! Whoever has the taste level to enjoy this garbage….. Then I think we all need to step back.. The Owner Tony is literally one of the worst characters in our industry. The… Food was inedible. Peking Duck is a staple for many fine pallets and if done with precision and technique . It’s memorable. If not it is disgusting! My experience was Disgusting. 1 & 2 are from #Riverhouse Edgewater 3&4 were made by the Boy Scouts of America!

Good location, with a nice view of the River. However, a few things to consider before booking. First, no maid service (which we were told due to Covid). But, when we'd ask for towels, coffee, etc. it was always a wait. I believe that hotels are now using this as an excuse to lower expenses, but they don't lower the rate. Next, I called guest services to ask for 4 wine glasses since we were having a drink in our room with another couple that was staying there. We were told that "the bar couldn't spare four glasses so two people would have to drink wine out of beer

The location was beautiful. The building was amazing. The overall ambiance is incredible. The staff was nice, a bit flustered and seemingly forgetful and understaffed, but nice. I had a reservation and waited an hour and a half past my reserved time. I waited 30 minutes to get a drink. The restaurant was less than 1/3 full. The staff was at least 6 bartender and front of house. For 6-10 people at the bar and 6-9 tables. Once seated we waited another hour for appetizers and total an hour and a half after seating for entrees. The order was allegedly misplaced for appetizers and entrees. The drinks

This is a pet-friendly hotel, but we felt like second-class citizens. To begin their designated pet rooms face the loud main road. You are told you will receive complimentary dog treats but we didn't get anything. We happened to be on the ground floor, and the entire walk area next to the pet room doors was lined with a dirty carpet. I didn't quite understand the carpet as this area was outdoors, but maybe the concrete below was covered in filth.
Inside the room was just as bad. There were visible stains and wet areas on the carpet. The shower had pink mildew in the tile grout

This resort is overpriced, and the rooms and amenities are terrible. The patio is a parking lot, the pools are full of non guests, and so over chlorinated that I was afraid to use them.
There is zero housekeeping. We had to beg for coffee, towels, and toilet paper!
After four days, the trash was overflowing, the towels were musty and the room was filthy.
For $1550.00, I think it's fair to expect some services.

EDIT: Today, my fourth time calling in, I was able to speak to an awesome employee named Kelsey who got me refunded. As a result, I'm bumping this up an extra star. Despite Kelsey being a rockstar, the overall experience was pretty bad.
My family booked a stay at the Riverhouse for 3 nights. Prior to arrival, Riverhouse sent us an email saying we could check in early at 11AM for a $50 charge. We called them, said we'd take them up on the offer, and they made a note in our account. When it was time for our visit, we drove from Portland early so that we could arrive at 11AM in order to

Enjoyed our stay here and the hotel exceeded expectations of a 3.5 STAR hotel and price was fair. Great friendly staff the room was great though we did not have a river view :( but was able to have dinner at Currents which was very good and right on the river. Had the trout which was cooked perfectly with such a great mix underneath of potatoes, bacon, shallots etc.
This will be our go to in Bend from now on.

Stayed last week at the beginning of a vacation. Polite, well-trained staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Great view of the river. Restaurant was good. Bar served good cocktails. Would give four stars but the pool had toxic levels of chlorine. The chemical smell was strong but we would never have guessed that after floating around for an hour it would ruin my wife's bathing suit and scorch her hair. We love water and often choose a hotel for its pool and spa, but have never had this happen before. Warned the staff the next day but they couldn't care less and the manager, Philip couldn

Room - 4 - king bed with river view and fireplace was a beautiful room, but there are major maintenance issues. Toilet would often continually run and not stop. Sink is dangerously faulty. You turn cold water lever and the water got increasingly hot. Got burned a few times. Fireplace was a great touch, but they forgot to provide a duraflame log and matches, so we had to request for them to be delivered. Heater was faulty - the heater kept running even though you turned it to 60 degrees. Then, the heater stopped turning on. Fortunately, it was not extremely cold that night. TV aspect ratio

Had a very nice stay here. Warmly greeted by Alli who helped us a lot with dining and area tips. Love the sound of the Deschutes River from the room so much that we slept with the door open. Would've been much nicer if the bar and restaurant was open but Covid restrictions made that a non-negotiable. Ask for an upper floor room away on the back side/ away from the main road.
I'd definitely come back again.
