Our fine jewelry store in Fairbanks, Alaska, offers a jewelry exchange policy that allows you to bring your purchase back for a credit. If for any reason you are not satisfied, return the item within 30 days from date of purchase for a credit in the amount purchased towards any item or service of equal or greater value.
For authentic Alaskan gift items, we invite you to peruse the assortment of local and native gifts. Our collection includes jade clocks and carvings, handmade dolls, carved antlers, and many one-of-a-kind items. At Taylor's Gold-N-Stones in Fairbanks, Alaska, discover our beautiful collection of gemstones that we mine from Alaskan mines.
A trained gemologist or an assistant at our store in Fairbanks, Alaska, will provide your jewelry appraisals. We do written appraisals for insurance and estates, as well as invoiced verbal appraisals. These verbal appraisals are done with minimal information such as a description and estimated retail value that is shown on your invoice.
Most rings can either be sized up (looser) or down (tighter). When we size a ring up we add metal and weld/solder it in between the cut ring shank (bottom part of ring), thereby making the circumference larger, this involves two solders on either side of the inserted metal. When we size a ring down we cut a piece of metal out and weld/solder it back together, this involves one weld/solder.
Our workshop is equipped with all the traditional goldsmith's tools. We also have some of the most modern tools available, like; the laser for the most sensitive and delicate of repairs, sand blasting for certain types of finishes, electro-plating for creating or maintaining certain finishes, microscopes for use in creating fine engraving detail, and/or for setting your gemstones stones perfectly, to just to name a few.

I absolutely LOVE me some Taylor’s Gold n Stones! Nothings better than to walk into an establishment where they are passionate about what they do, what they have and what they sell. Everyone at Taylor’s is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and personable. They have an amazing selection of pearls, specialty gems, gold nuggets, a sprinkle of black hills gold, AND last but not least DIAMONDS AND WEDDING RINGS. My favorite is their diamond “program” (not sure if that’s what it’s called?) IF you buy your diamond from them, then when all your years of anniversaries come around you can trade

Great service with compassion! Long story short is that I have a Egytian gold that I bought in Doha, Qatar during Iraq deployment. It is thin gold, and finally broke. It sat for years and I didn't have the heart to toss it.
I took it to Taylor's ready for the no it can't be fixed! But they said yes! I told them to take their time and I picked it up today! I cried. They saved my deployment memory!
They reinforced it with a gold inside that fits perfect! Polished it up prettier than ever. And they took the time to explain different types of gold. And they said they enjoyed the challenge!

I would give them 5 stars but was given $650 in store credit and got $325 in gold nuggets due to over priced nuggets. They recieve 3 stars only because the employees were nice and friendly but probably won't be stopping by anytime soon to do buisness unless the nugget prices go down to a price that isn't way over spot price especially when placer gold nuggets are not even pure gold no matter how clean they are current spot price per gram is $56.05 and there charging $109 a gram.

I brought in an old (1991) necklace [that kept breaking at $20 a pop] for a “scrap gold” appraisal... it was fast and more than fair ($400, which is what I had paid for it new) So I did a trade in on the value for a titanium necklace and golden eagle pendant!! Even before I started doing business with these people, they always treated me like family and respectfully answered all of my questions!

I took my wedding ring to Taylor’s for some work and was blown away when I picked it up! My beautiful ring looked so sparkly, like the day I got it almost 19 years ago💗 Thank you Taylor’s! My husband even came back to the store and surprised my daughter and me with some Valentines bling😊 The staff is so nice! They offer my daughter chocolate when… we come in (after asking me first) and she was even given a gemstone poster after the staff noticed her interest in the gemstones in the store. The only complaint I have is that my wishlist is a mile long😂

I am working on a project about Religious Life in the Catholic Church where I will be displaying Habit Rosaries, some of which are over 200 years old. I have over 200 and have taken these Rosaries into Taylor's… for cleaning; their work is AMAZING! Most Rosaries I get are very tarnished and in a dismal state. Taylor's Gold-n-Stones, Inc have made these Rosaries look BRAND NEW while preserving tje antique. The customer service is AWESOME, the price PERFECT, and most importantly, the work is genuinely AMAZING!

If I could give 6 stars for Taylor's, I would in a second! I came into Taylor's after reading the other excellent reviews on Google and Facebook. My engagement ring had 2 diamonds that fell out of it and I was pretty devastated. I walked into Taylor's and was greeted by Simon, who went above and beyond to make sure that all my needs were met.
