Since 2002, Urban Skin Care has provided our clients with a luxurious spa experience in a contemporary setting. Founders Erin and Larissa provide top quality service and a commitment to excellent, holistic care. We came to a crossroads at each of our jobs at the time and decided to combine our strengths.
We set the standard for excellence when it comes to skincare. Having performed thousands of facials over the years, we've refined our techniques to provide the best experience and results possible. A deep cleansing of your face and decollet including an herbal skin exfoliation, followed by a nourishing mask to suit your specific skin type.
In addition to our comprehensive spa services and medical spa, we offer additional specialty services to cater to your every need. Whether it's a lash lift to give you enhanced lashes with a natural curl, lash extensions to lengthen your natural lash to ear coning to remove excess wax build-up, it's available to you from one of our professional estheticians.
We do and we are San Diego's speed waxing specialists! We use only the highest-quality strip wax and hardwax, which will leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and nourished. Whether this is your first wax or you're seasoned pro, our technique will be the best you've ever experienced. Lower back waxing includes the hair from the lower mid portion of the back to the waistline.

I love Urban Skin Care! Truly. I've been going there for about 6 years now and I can't get enough of Erin and Larissa. Not only are they waxing experts (quick and painless always), but they have totally transformed my skin. I struggled with adult acne in my early and mid 20's, and over the years they've taken extra time to understand my skin, come up with a regimen to heal and maintain it as well as give extra tips and tricks for best skin care practices at home. Their spa is cozy, inviting and relaxing and honestly you're crazy if you're a San Diego local and haven't tried this place yet! I promise

FIVE STARS & then some for the spa, the service, the aestheticians, and the products. The Urban Girls, Erin & Larissa, just launched their own line of skin care products, MiaMarcia, which is receiving rave reviews & quickly becoming "THE" beauty must- have items.
Larissa recommended using the MiaMarcia BOD Moisturizer when shaving to minimize irritation to my super sensitive skin. If you're like me, you probably thought, "What? I can use a moisturizer for shaving?" Who knew? Answer: The Urban Girls! This has seriously been a game changer & no more itchy skin for me. I'm now hooked on the MiaMarcia

I’ve been going to Erin at Urban Skin Care for almost 7 years and have had the best experience. I’ve also seen Larissa and and she equally amazing. Erin has fixed damage done by others to my skin and has turned me on to the best products. Urban Skincare is my go to when friends and clients ask where they should go for their facials, spray tans and waxing.

Erin is amazing! She has really gotten my skin back on track. She really listens and remembers all your needs. I appreciate Erin and how she goes the entra mile to make your appointment that much better. Also, Jess at the front desk is a doll. Always so helpful and such a sweet young lady! Everybody is so welcoming. I love coming here for facials and eyebrows. They also have a great line of face products. I have never loved my skin more.

I went to see Michelle at Urban Skin Care today for a full lash set and was so happy I did! Michelle was very professional, took great care of me, did a beautiful job on my lashes, and played great music. I was so relaxed I even nodded off a couple of times! Michelle asked me about my preferences for the look I wanted, but I completely trusted her to do whatever she felt would look best. If you're thinking about getting lashes, please go see Michelle! You won't regret it!

I would give 10 stars if I could. The salon is beautiful and relaxing but what sets it apart are the owners and employees. I have been a client for almost a decade and finally joining the 21st century to leave some much deserved love. They are professional and crazy fast. Make you feel comfortable and do such an amazing job. I highly recommend!!

Urban Skin Care is awesome! I have been seeing Erin for at least 12 years (if not more). Erin is knowledgeable, skilled, and overall amazing. She is the only one I trust with my skin! When I first starting seeing her, I had adult acne and redness on my face. It took time, but now I'm acne free and the redness is gone. It is great that they customize treatments to my needs/issues and keep track of what has been done/works.
Including Erin, the Urban Skin Care family are all friendly and welcoming. I love talking with Jessica and Anna, and it is a bonus when I see Larissa.

I seriously LOVE the ladies of Urban! Owners Erin and really get to know their clients and truly pamper them! They take time to learn what your skincare goals are and customize your treatments to meet your needs. They always remind me to relax and be calm, and as soon as you get to their spa you feel zen! I have had brown… spots and problem skin and they have seriously done miracles for me. Their staff is awesome and they always have the best products for you to use for your home regiment. I'm like a vampire and try to avoid the sun at all costs. Hey! I don't want wrinkles or sun damage. Alas, I was looking extra pale and was in need of a touch of color before a recent vacation to Mexico. So Urban Skincare it was! I must admit I picked them mostly because they are literally 2 mins from my house. But I'm so glad I did.
The gal that did my spray tan was super friendly and informative. She also made sure to ask me what my end goal was and walked me through my options to achieve it. The results were gorgeous. No streaks and not toooo tan. The color was beautiful!

The last time I got the most beautiful glow when I went in January. She was careful to put lotion on knuckles hands elbows ankles and toes. She talked me through the process and I walked out with a sun kissed glow to be jealous of.
This time was the opposite. Instead of the young lady I had last time, I got Andrea who had a sweet personality. Unfortunately I have nothing positive to say after that. I told her how I liked the

It has been 6 days since I have had my eyelashes permed by Larissa & they still look as if I had gotten them freshly done today!
