Going through a divorce is emotionally, mentally and physically the worst thing I’ve went through in my life. You hire a lawyer who is understanding and competent to help you get through this hard time. I received the opposite services.

I will always feel guilty for referring my daughter to Tana Benner for her divorce. Tana was referred to me from a friend a few years ago that was satisfied with her work on her divorce.
I wish I had taken to heart the reviews that other people left regarding her work.
They are correct, she is a very pleasant person. Pleasant does not get you results in the courtroom.
She is either very slow at communications or does not all.
She turned in wrong paperwork and we did not get to review the paperwork (she had my daughter, who is a professional listed as a day care provider, at home).

I hired Tana to handle my divorce last year. Throughout the process, communication was very slow. It would take a week or more for her to respond to my questions, and she was never in any hurry to finalize my case. After my divorce was settled and finalized, I came to realize that she left a huge detail out of the settlement - she did not include a time frame in which my ex was to refinance the home to remove my name from the mortgage. After contacting her about this, she didn't make much effort, if any, to help resolve the situation and stopped communication with me. I ended up hiring a new lawyer
