Urban Forest recently removed an 80 foot Grand Fir tree that had a diameter of 42 inches at the base. The tree was located between the house and a wood fence 12 feet from the house. Obviously a challenging endeavor. The Urban Forest crew(s) removed the branches, brought down the tree trunk, ground the stump and removed the wood safely and without any damage to the house or the fence. The only structural issue was the displacement of the pad on which the nearby air conditioner was situated. They corrected this problem.

I was looking for a good arborist in Portland, and i certainly found one. I found them through Friends Of Trees (the non-profit). I called a few options and they where quick to respond, and to get someone out to take a look and get me a quote. Very competitively priced, and scheduling was easy. I was even able to get in sooner, because they called when other opening shoed up, this was very helpful.
The day they came to do the work they where organized, and quick. Took care of not damaging other trees or wires, and not dropping anything in the neighbor's yard.

I got so much information and advice on how to care for a very tall street tree with Bronze Birch Borer. From the estimator, to staff arborist, scheduler and tree crew - great service! Tree crew to climbed trimmed dead wood, analyzed the chances of survival and advised me on steps to take to increase these odds. Crew did a great job, really cleaned up the job site. So glad they were able to get me in quickly - the big wind storm came in two days later!

Great experience working with Urban forest team on removal of trees in my front yard. Arborist was super cool and professional in estimating the costs and assessing the needs of removal. Then project manager - Sharon was amazing throughout the entire journey. Noah and his crew cut the tree quickly and cleaned everything up ideally. Then the next day Keith came with the stump grinder and made everything look in a way that I never had trees there. Fantastic experience. Can't recommend enough.

The three person crew from a Urban Forest Pros showed up on time and immediately got to work. I was really impressed with their professionalism and especially the care/respect they showed for my property. They did a thorough and complete job off pruning my oak tree and left the job site totally cleared of debris. I highly recommend this company for all of your tree care needs.
