I love my job! Each day, I look forward to the opportunity to provide orthodontic care to the patients and families of the communities I serve. I was born and raised in the South Hills of Pittsburgh where my parents instilled the values of the "Golden Rule" and helping others in my sisters and me. I am grateful to my wife, parents, family, and mentors for providing me with the support and opportunity to become an orthodontist.
From a young age, I was taught that if I'm not going to be the best at something, don't do it! I live by the mantra that every task, big or small, should be done to the best of my ability. Whether I am cleaning dishes, cutting the lawn, or straightening teeth, I strive to do every task, big or small, with the same level of commitment.

Wow i'm not sure which Dr. Mortimer some of you have seen, but Dr. Mortimer is amazing, funny, personable and answers every question I ask without seeming annoyed or bothered. He is so funny and jokes with me all the time - even remembered i was turning FIFTY this year and asked me how my birthday went and what i did, etc. He is the coolest. Rock on, Dr. Mortimer!

Doctor Mortimer deserves better, as he is a really good orthodontist who is understanding with and genuinely seems to care about his patients. Unfortunately, the "face" of the office can leave a bad impression on anyone. His receptionist seems to feel that she is allowed to be rude and condescending if you dare miss an appointment or even show up late (but not when Doc Mortimer is within earshot, of course). I guess she's just too busy to be bothered with doing her job when real life happens to other people. The last straw was a nasty little letter that was signed by Carol of

After spending a few years with this practice, I agonize at the thought of interacting with this group.
1) The doctor is extremely arrogant and self absorbed.
2) The hygienists appear to be under tension, or maybe fearful of the doctor.
I initially joined the practice when the seasoned and down to earth orthodontist Dr. Dee was with the practice. Dee left shortly after signing into the practice without any notice to the existing clients. The same communication is exhibited with patient and doctor communication. Mortimer's arrogance overpowers any conversation.
You can feel the hygienists
