CJ David & Co. founder David Khong was raised in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States as a young boy. His father, a watchmaker, taught the trade to his son who was able to expand his father's legacy from watch repair to all aspects of fine jewelry. For David, making jewelry is a true expression of his creativity and attention to detail.

We specialize in custom jewelry designs, all done here in store. You will meet with our designer and come up with a concept to fit your needs. Whether we are making something completely from scratch or working with stones you already have, we are able to create totally unique and one of a kind pieces just for you.

I was so disappointed in David and his staff. He made my daughter in laws wedding ring 4 years ago. We have had to take it in 3 times to be fixed for diamonds falling out and now part of it has cracked off. David was "too busy" to help me today and his office staff was rude. We were not asking them to do anything but help us understand why this keeps happening. I do not think good customer service is an unrealistic expectation when you are spending thousands of dollars. I would NOT recommend using this jeweler.

I brought my wife's wedding ring in for repair and received outstanding service. David went above and beyond by replacing the head and a cracked baguette and reworked the settings to lower the risk of future damage to the ring. David provided fast service and fit me in despite a full schedule of existing orders. He took the time to walk me through the changes before and after they were made. Though I was only there for a repair, I could see from the showcase that he has done some incredible custom work. I highly recommend this place. I just picked up my gold engagement ring and my platinum wedding ring from being resized. Not only do my rings fit more comfortably, they have been expertly polished. The owner explained the correct way of resizing a ring, which is NOT to stretch the metal, rather add metal. This will be my new jeweler!

I always feel like they go out of their way to treat everyone fairly and with respect. I have never purchased anything from them other than a watch band. I mostly have them put batteries in watches or resize watch bands. Nevertheless they are gracious and charge me a reasonable amount for everything.

C J David & Co. is an awesome place to do business with. David custom made my wife's wedding ring almost 10 years ago and she still loves it! I just stopped into their shop last week to have him make 2 more pieces of jewelry for her. I am a dentist and as such I appreciate his attention to fine detail. He is an artist and technician. His staff is very friendly and have always gone out of their way to make us happy.

I don't know where to start, as I am blown away. The moment I walked in, I was taken care of immediately. From the front office staff, to Amoura the talented jeweler who created this custom sunflower for me. Every person I dealt with was kind and patient. They listened to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations. The piece is perfect and was done way before expected as well. I have gone here for jewelry repairs and cleanings but this time was by far my FAVORITE! I wanted a new setting for my pear shaped diamond wedding ring so I took it in and spoke with Amoura, jewelry designer, about some ideas. I found a picture of what I wanted and it turned out to be WAY MORE amazing than I could have ever even imagined! it is GORGEOUS! They are patient, very trustworthy, perfectionists, personable, and I HIGHLY recommend using them over any other jeweler! I have known David for years and he makes exquisite jewelry. CJ David & Co. I would NOT recommend this company. I took fine jewelry to and fine jewelry store for resizing. I need my rings to be about a quarter size bigger. I was told I would have to add gold to one. When I went to pick them up the one that needed gold added and charged for was smaller by a quarter. When I brought it to their attention they showed me the line of demarcation as proof it was altered. I told them it was altered in the wrong direction. First a fine jewelry store would not have a line of demarcation and second it there was one for adding it would show 2 lines not one. One

Before I began the thoughts of getting engaged I had no idea how anything worked in the process of getting an engagement ring. I didn't understand the different cuts, band designs, widths, process or anything. I was very cautious and My expectations for a jeweler were extremely high but CJ David jewelry far surpassed them. This happened a couple years ago but I wanted to share the story. I brought my friend in and she was handicapped (she had brain cancer and has since passed away). and she wanted to get her ring sized and they said 1 to 2 weeks was the typical time it would take to get the ring. We were in on a Saturday and they called the following Monday to tell me that her ring was ready ! In just two days the ring was ready!! And one of those days was a Sunday. Very upsetting when you take a watch to be fixed and was changed a lot of money to find out later nothing was ever done to the watch that I paid to be fixed. I tried to call the owner/manager left many messages and NEVER returned my call. C j David took my money and never did anything to fix the problem with the watch. I took it to a honest jeweler that fixed the problem and had to pay for this work to be done again.
I will not recommend C J David I would run and take your money elsewhere to accompany that is honest. This company can't be trusted they take your money, and don't give

May 2017: Two (2) pieces of jewelry were sold to Mr. Khong, a broach and one (1) earring, (diamonds on both).
Mid-November 2017: Spoke with Vivian and she would try to locate the earring. "Told me to follow-up with her. Didn't want me to think she was abandoning me.." I never heard back from Vivian.
NO answer for multiple days W/OUT a Voicemail service.
November 2017: Less than six (6) months from the date of sale, I found the matching earring, which would have completed the set.
Mr. Khong was able to locate

I couldn't be happier with the amount of attention they put into the jewelry here. I had my wedding band cleaned, tightened, buffed and straightened, antique redone on side of ring and dipped in a metal protective coating and made smaller to fit better.
The work was done quickly and professionally. My band was returned in better then new condition. It was buffed to look new plus the dents were removed. I have a jewelry store grade cleaner in my home and I was doing my usual wedding ring cleaning and I noticed one of my little pave stones fell out, thank God it was in the water. Because I am obsessed with my ring and our Jeweler is in Los Angeles I went to my boo Yelp and started searching for someone to fix it.
