Athletic mouth guards help athletes avoid trauma to their teeth and reduce the chance of concussion when impact occurs. However, it's important to know if your mouth guard protects your teeth like it should. The ADA (American Dental Association) worked with the ANSI (American National Standards Institute) to develop a standard for athletic mouth guards.
If you clench or grind your teeth, your dentist may recommend that you wear a night guard. A night guard is a dental appliance that prevents damage to your teeth and strain on your jaw while you are sleeping. Though there are over-the-counter night guards available at many drug stores, a custom-made night guard may be easier to sleep with, last longer, and be more effective.
Emergency dental care can arise at any time, and can be both painful and inconvenient. At Precision Dental of Windsor, we will do our best to respond to your urgent dental care promptly. If the problem arises when the office is closed, our answering service will give instructions for contacting Dr. Kollar or the dentist on-call.
A crown is a full-coverage restoration. This means it covers the entire visible surface of the tooth, and unlike removable dental appliances such as dentures, crowns are fused onto existing teeth or implants. A crown can not only provide strength to a damaged tooth, it can also improve the aesthetics such as appearance, shape, or alignment.

Hands down the best dentist I have ever been to! Dr. Kollar and her staff are extremely thorough, professional and friendly. The cleanings are great! Any work you need done, Dr. Kollar does it all and she makes sure that you understand what she is doing every step of the way as well as makes sure you are happy with the end results. I highly recommend!

They are thorough in their review with x-rays, teeth cleaning, and polishing. They make sure you have all of the latest information to make an informed decision, which many medical providers decide to skip basic consultative steps.

After x-rays, Dr. Jill asked "would you be surprised if I said you had cavities?" I thought that was a weird question since I've never had a cavity. I said "yes, I'd be surprised. " her response was "really? Well you do." I was completely caught off guard and thought that was unprofessional and rude. I felt put on the spot. The receptionist and hygienist were fantastic but I will not be going back.

So like many people the dentist scares the snot out of me. So finding a new one is not my favorite thing. When I called them, Sarah Made me feel like she was an old friend I was reconnecting with. She is the reason I decided to give them a shot. I have only been to the office once and the staff is all very nice. But I have had the pleasure of talking to Sarah a few times about a couple questions I had on a referral. She handled everything and got it solved for me. WOW. Not a lot of people go above and beyond and make you feel important. Each time I called she new exactly who I was. Thank you Sarah

After several very uncomfortable and expensive dental experiences, I gave up on dentists for about 10 years. Not having dental insurance made most procedures, even cleanings, cost prohibitive. I found Precision Dental through a Groupon, and decided to try them out. The cleaning was the first I had that was painless, and she checked in on my comfort level frequently. I have never been so impressed. I scheduled another six month cleaning, and actually went. All future work will be done through them. The dentist and her staff are incredible, and not only was I pleased with their kindness and efficiency

Just updating my review....This is the second time I've gone and it was another great experience. Marissa was so helpful in being able to work my husband in for a next day appointment and we really appreciated that.

Yesterday 02-21 was my very first time here. The office staff are amazing! I was able to get a same day appointment for a cleaning AND to start some dental work. They are great at explaining exactly what you need done and how much to expect it to cost. Honestly, even getting shots and having work done was not a pain. The dentist has a really gentle touch and I was always made aware of what to expect at every moment.
I can honestly say I look forward to going back and getting my smile back.
