I was looking for something kosher for my client and stumbled on this spot. I called in and the man at first seemed upset about something but as we spoke he got more pleasant. I told him what I was looking for and he said he would have everything set for me at my budget for the next day. When I arrived I parked on the street. I walked in and told one man I was picking up. The man that took my order came to ring me up at the price he told me and thanked me. I left and dropped off the meal and ate mine after. I got the falafel platter and it was tasty and filling. Not a bad experience at all.

Absolutely delicious food. Sometimes they run out of things but that's because they make sure everything is fresh. The owner is Israeli so perhaps there is a culture clash and he has rubbed some reviewers here the wrong way. He is a very nice man and always takes care of us. Read the reviews and know that the sub par ratings are not indicative of the highly quality kosher food.

More like 3.5 stars.
I'm never a fan of kosher restaurants but my job ordered from here and I can't turn down a free meal. I had the roasted vegetables and it came with Israeli salad, smoked eggplant, and hummus with pita. The vegetables and smoked eggplant were very good, as was the hummus and pita, but the Israeli salad was awful, completely tasteless.
Generous portions though!

I called to ask a question. I actually never encountered a more rude, arrogant man on the phone. I called back because I had another question and he actually stated that I just called and he hung up on me. Why would anyone go anywhere that has nasty people representing them? It probably was the owner. Ugh, there are plenty of wonderful places to get a falafel with nice people. Ugh

Called this morning and ordered the Moroccan pot roast Shabbat special. Was told they closed at 2 PM and I told the gentleman on the phone that I would be there between 12 and 1230. When I arrived he not only had no Moroccan pot roast, but had no real recollection of talking to me on the phone. This is not a good way to do business. I initially called yesterday, Thursday, and was told I could not get a Shabbat special until Friday. How do they not have enough to fill all Shabbat special requests?

This was my first visit to Perfect Pita. It was a Wednesday at noon. Many items on the menu were not available since lamb shawarma was the only meat available. They have paper menus available but the menu on the wall can use more lighting. I ordered a shawarma pita which came with a salad with items from the salad bar. I enjoyed my meal while sitting on one of the seats facing the wall although a table was offered. It's good food in the most basic way.

Best falafel I've had! I love that the pita bread comes from Jerusalem! Their pita is much thicker than most and therefore can withstand the hummus and tahini and other wet sides that are key to a great falafel. As a Vegan I love that the meat items are prepared separate due to the business being kosher. The owner is super nice and the staff friendly. I also love that I'm supporting a small business. I'm no longer working in the area but I will definitely be back. The Jerusalem salad is also excellent, a must try!

Wow, so glad I stopped by for lunch today while working in the area. I had the chicken shawarma on a pita. It was very flavorful. Came with side salads from a salad bar. The homemade hot sauce was really good. I will be back for sure. There should have been a line out the door, but only one other person came in while I was having lunch. If I lived in Fair Lawn I would be a regular for sure!

Got chicken shawarma, and grilled chicken in pitas for lunch. Both were very tasty! Eggplant and falafel were good as well! Condiment bar had a nice variety, but nothing was much more than average. Service from the fellow behind the counter was great! Prices are steep as it's Kosher, but if that's what you need, this is your place for a decent meal!

Delicious food! Have ordered takeout dinner from here as well as stopped in for lunch. Enjoyed my meal both times. Chicken shawarma sandwich is yummy and if you eat in they have a little salad bar included. Roasted veggies, babagaboush, hummus, chicken, lamb all tasty. Would definitely order from here again.

I just went there for lunch and NEEDED to post ASAP! What an awful establishment! First of all, when you first walk it, there is no decor at all. It looks like a empty space that is in the middle of moving out. Their glass display was completely bare with the exception of a few half empty plates.
Horrible service. No one greets us when we walk in or direct us to order or take a seat. A man standing behind the counter was just staring at us. Finally, someone from the back room comes out and asks us what we would like to order. He suggests their special (chicken shawarma) and we agree to it. The

Good food, horrible business. Expensive for no reason.
When I first walked in, the owner (I'm assuming) was cursing at his son (i'm hoping) who must have been about 10 years old working as a waiter/ bus-boy.
I asked if they had gyros, they said yes except with chicken. They told me to take a side dish from the salad bar. The dish I recieved was chicken in a peanuty like sauce wrapped in a pita.... no lettuce, no tomato, just chicken and some mystery sauce. It was good, but not at all what i ordered. I realized this in my car, I walked back in to tell them they forgot. The response,
