The biggest mistake some people make is covering their existing wood flooring with some alternative not realizing that their current floor can be refinished adding value and nostalgia to the home. For most people the existing wood floor is of better quality than what they will purchase to replace it.
When choosing a New Jersey hardwood floor, the options are immense. We prefer to install a traditional inch depth unfinished wood floor that is sanded and finished after installation, but we realize this is not always the best application for every job. We offer many other options such as engineered flooring, laminate flooring and prefinished flooring.
After your floors are completed you'll want to get the most life out of them as you can. This is where it is important to follow strict guidelines for maintaining your floor. Keeping them clean and free of residue is what allows us to come back on a periodic basic for a nominal fee and add protection to your floor with a new coat of water or oil polyurethane.
