Premier Inspection Services is owned and operated by Todd Smith, a licensed and certified New York State home inspector. In his eight years of professional experience, Todd has completed over 1,000 inspection services for satisfied clients. He is passionate about using his knowledge to help people enter wisely into one of life's greatest investments.
Our home inspection services start at just $300 and abide by the Standards of Practice (SOP) as outlined by both InterNACHI and New York State. During the inspection, we complete a visual walk-through of the property to determine if any defects or damages are present and note the home's operation, condition, and maintenance requirements.
At Premier Inspection Services, owner and inspector Todd Smith holds a NYS Mold Assessor License #MA00505 and is an ACAC Certified Residential Indoor Environmentalist (CRIE) for air quality issues such as mold and other allergens. New York State law has required licensing for mold inspectors since 2016, and our services go above and beyond all state requirements.

Todd was very thorough and put first time homebuyers at ease during the inspection process. He took the time to elaborate on his observations and provided a detailed report within 24 hours of the inspection. He was open to any questions, was very personable and easy to talk to. Todd is really thorough. I have had him do two homes for me now. He is friendly, flexible, accommodating, and very good at explaining things - which gives peace of mind. The first inspection, I was there with him, and he was patient with all my questions. The second, I was not there, but he documents his findings extremely well, so it just like being there.

As a real estate professional I have worked with Todd on numerous occasions in the past couple years. He is fantastic to work with. Every inspection has been professional, balanced, and thorough. I am always appreciative of his digital reports which offer insightful pictures and essentially a "manual" to the house which is great in the negotiating phase of buying and as a handy list for those little updates that you'll chip away at after you close. I was completely satisfied with the testing for mold performed by Todd Smith of Premier Mold Inspection and Testing. He explained the procedures needed to be done and the reasons for them, and at the time of our initial conversation answered all my questions patiently and clearly. After the test results were in (within a few days), he provided me with printed detailed analysis, and followed-up with a phone call the next day to ask if I had any further questions. He also works closely with the mold remediation technician of one's choice. I highly recommend him.
