Our journey into Real Estate began in 1976 after an unhappy experience of selling and purchasing our home. At that point we decided that we did not want to rely on a Real Estate Agent again. In 1980 we obtained our Salesperson licenses. We sought out the best company that gave us the best training---at that time it was Valley Realty in Hayward.
About 2 years after we joined Valley, it was bought out by Coldwell Banker. Like Valley Realty, Coldwell Banker was the industry leader in a comprehensive contract and forms that protected both buyers and sellers. Our stay was educational, but after about 6 months we decided that we preferred to be on our own.
