Simple, we are kid experts! While family dentists practice general dentistry for people of all ages, a pediatric dentist spends all day every day only treating patients generally 18 years old or younger. Pediatric dentists undergo two extra years of specialized residency training after becoming a dentist.
Their training includes advanced techniques and procedures to help even the most apprehensive child become comfortable. They also take courses in sedation, growth, development, orthodontics, childhood diseases, child psychology and children with special needs. This allows them to understand the specific needs of younger patients as they grow into adults.

Dr. Bradley Cox absolutely loved his time working with kids as a teacher prior to becoming a dentist and he draws on those experiences when teaching his patients about their oral health. He is dedicated to providing each child the best possible care and experience. Brad, (as his patients know him) completed his undergraduate degree at Pacific Lutheran University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in biology.
The first "regular" dental visit should be no later than your child's first birthday. It is important that your child's newly-erupted teeth (erupting at 6 to 12 months of age) receive proper dental care right from the beginning. At Bright Smiles Kids Dentistry, the first few visits to our office are very important and our goal is to make it a memorable first impression!
We are committed to provide the highest quality of care to the most children at affordable prices. We make every effort to provide you with a treatment plan that fits your budget and timetable. This means that we are constantly working with insurance companies and the following list of accepted insurances may have changed.
A Pediatric Dentist is a specialist who is dedicated specifically to the oral health of children from infancy through early adulthood. They have special training to work with a wide variety of dental problems that are common to developing mouths. They are trained and qualified to care for children with special needs, and will work with pediatricians to develop a comprehensive plan that combines oral health with total health care.

I can not even begin to express the amount of professionalism and attentiveness this dentistry has. We transferred here due to my five year old having dental anxiety, and we visited one time and I knew this was the place for us. ALL of the staff are amazing, loving and compassionate, reassuring and thorough. I do not feel rushed, I feel like I’m being heard and considered when it comes to my child’s dental work/needs, and I feel like the staff has known us forever. My son had to get dental work at Grandview and got general anesthesia with Dr. Brad and it was absolutely phenomenal in every way

Could not be happier with my decision to go to this Dentist for my toddler! When I tell you these people are the sweetest and most patient people, I'm not exaggerating! My son started to cry and get really nervous and his Dentist QUICKLY got him to calm down and got him so comfortable! He let him use the little mirror for the inside of his mouth, let him brush his own teeth, and then my son willingly let the Dentist do it himself. He was GREAT. He came up with a whole game plan for me and it was all just such a great experience all in all. SO thankful to have found a place like this!

To day we had the pleasure of visiting doctor Brad and his office. From the 1st call to the receptionist Sam to the dental assistant, to the doctor himself this was a completely satisfying visit. The receptionist is excellent at making sure you have your paperwork early to fill out. Reminders of appointment time and day. They were so compassionate while my daughter had two baby teeth pulled. They made sure she was comfortable and pain free during the whole process. I have 3 children and have worked in a few hospitals for 29 years so I feel like I know a good doctor when I meet them. He has a wonderful

I found Bright Smiles Kids Dentistry on line since we are newer to the area. I called to make my appointments and the receptionist was so helpful and sweet! I had a great feeling about the visit for the kids after speaking with her. Once we arrived the visit went so well! The kids had no fear of the Dentist. I'm so glad we found a great Doctor!

I googled kids dentists in the area and I noticed this place had very high ratings so I made an appointment for my 18 month old son who had his first visit this past Wednesday. The office was well kept with a nice play area and friendly staff! The receptionists were pleasant and very helpful when filling out the patient forms. The dentist we saw (Dr. Brad) was very helpful in giving us tips for brushing and cleaned his teeth fast and efficiently since my son was very hesitant to staying still. The service and care we received was amazing and I would highly recommend anyone to visit for their next
