Myers Funeral Home was founded by the late, Howard Frank Myers. Howard was married to the late, Dorotha Dean "Dot" Lile Myers, and they were the parents of three children: Howard Kent Myers, Edward Brent Myers and Paula Jean Myers Vomund. At that time, the names of both the Wellsville and Middletown funeral homes were changed to Myers Funeral Home.
Kent married Sarah "Jane" Mullen Myers, and they had three children: Howard Jason Myers, Jill Ann Myers and Jennifer Aliece Myers. The funeral homes continue to be owned and operated by his wife, Sarah "Jane" Myers. In 2021 with the retirement of Jane Myers, the funeral home will continue to serve this area with new ownership.

Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of planning ahead has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
