My name is Shay Perna and I am an intimate portrait photographer based out of Jacksonville, NC. I'm a military spouse and a mom of 2 girls. I've always loved photography. I've had my business for about 4 years now and I've been photographing boudoir for about 3 years now and I love it! For me, boudoir is about feeling comfortable in your own skin, loving yourself and feeling empowered and confident.
After you book you will receive a series of emails leading up to the date of your session to make sure you feel prepared for your shoot! We'll send you a Prep Guide, Wardrobe Guide, and even a guide on the do's and don't for hair and makeup. We know you're probaably nervous, but rest assured that we are there to guide your through the whole Boudoir Experience from beginning to end.
I wanted to do a shoot like this for myself and my fiance before we got married. I was nervous about how I would look and worried that I was being silly for thinking I could look good in these types of pictures. Chycaria met me for lunch and kept in touch with me for months before the shoot to get to know me.

Once you pay the Session Fee retainer (we collect a $500 Session Fee) and pick a date you will be locked in and good to go! The Session Fee is your non-refundable retainer to reserve private use of the studio.
