Eyecare Services Report

Treatment of primary ocular disease including, but not limited to, red eyes, foreign body removal, glaucoma, macular degeneration, meibomian gland dysfunction, dry eye syndrome and managing diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Kresnak also participates in the InfantSee program, providing free exams for infants from 6 months to one year.

Dry Eye Syndrome Report

Dry Eye Disease (DED), also known as keratitis sicca, is a condition in which there are insufficient tears to lubricate and nourish the eye. Tears are necessary for maintaining the health of the front surface of the eye and for providing clear vision. People with dry eyes either do not produce enough tears or have a poor quality of tears.

Dry Eye Treatment Report

The iLUX MGD Treatment System is an advanced technology used to treat patients with Meibomian Gland Dysfunction, or MGD, which is a type of dry eye. Dry eye is a chronic eye disease caused by deficiencies in the tear film that affects over 30 million people in the United States. Of those 30 million, 86% suffer from Meibomian Gland Disease or MGD.

We offer a large selection of frames from several frame manufacturers including Vera Wang, Calvin Klein, Kate Spade, Tura, Charmant, BCBG, Ted Baker, Black Finn, Wiley X, Ray-Ban, Nike and many more. Because we have approximately 800 frames on display to choose from, we are confident that you will love your final selection!

I'm incredibly frustrated with the front-desk service. Very poor communication. Had issues trying to place my contacts order but didn't bother to tell me about it until I called and asked why my order hadn't arrived yet. Have had to call to follow up multiple times whether it's asking for an order confirmation, shipping details, etc. I really enjoyed my office visit experience, but the logistics and poor organization within the office is apparent.

Very disappointed with the direction this office has taken. Great doctors, HORRIBLE organization with the staff. I have come here since second grade (I'm 31 now) and within the last two years, my contact order has been ordered and then never placed by the staff more than once, and they couldn't even find where I paid for my visit. I understand that this office is now busier with a heavier patient load but the front office is NOT KEEPING UP with the organization. I am saying this having been a front office administrator for dental offices for over ten years. This place needs help. The doctors and

From my initial phone call to picking up my glasses all of the staff at Grand Rapids Eye Care were phenomenal. I saw Dr. Kresnak, a younger patient of his stopped in before my appointment and he took the time to say hello. It's evident he truly cares for his patients. The staff are all so friendly, and professional. I have been diagnosed with cataracts, and Dr. Sokol has been so informative on what to expect. The staff are always helpful with getting adjustments done, without an appointment.

I see a lot of health professionals and these are some of the best. My vision is pretty poor so having a good optometrist can literally have me seeing that much better. Also, they have stellar customer service when your old glasses lose a screw they'll fix them for free.
