E.P. Dentistry 4 Kids (EPD4K) is honored to be named "Best Of 2020" by El Paso Inc. We cannot thank the community of El Paso, TX enough for this treasured award. Our dedicated doctors and staff remain motivated to continue this level of excellence for a long time to come. I've been through several states due to the military, but never in my life meet a dentist like Dr. Brandi Tiner!
A dental examination is an important first step in evaluating your child's oral health. The health of your child's teeth and mouth are important for their overall well-being. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a visit to the dentist within six months of the eruption of your child's first tooth, or by their first birthday.
At El Paso Dentistry 4 Kids (EPD4K), our award-winning dentists are committed to helping children develop good oral health habits that will last a lifetime. In addition to regular brushing and flossing at home, we recommend all of our patients receive a professional dental cleaning along with their oral examination at least every six months.
Dental sealants are thin white coatings that are applied to the chewing surfaces of back (molar) teeth. The chewing surfaces of molar teeth contain multiple pits and grooves which are difficult to clean with brushing and flossing alone. These areas can harbor plaque and bacteria, increasing the risk of developing tooth decay.
As part of this procedure, the dentist may need to give local anesthetic to the affected area to eliminate any tooth pain. Once the tooth is adequately anesthetized, the dentist will remove the cavity and place the white filling. The effects of the local anesthetic will wear off within a few hours.

I've never really had issues here before...EXCEPT when my son was 4 and needed his teeth fillings. The dentist was not willing to even try. As soon as my son moved once he gave up (and they had given him meds). As a pediatric nurse having to do IVs and caths without kids under anything I know how to deal with this...I would expect they would too. However now during Covid I was NEVER told there was an updated process. Apparently you have to text when you're here and fill out some paperwork online. This would have been good to know via text or phone call.

When choosing EP Dentistry for kids note that they do not allow medical exemptions. They discriminate and violate the Americans with Disabilities Act as well as HIPPA.
We used them for years and I'm shocked that they are now denying my family service due to our disabilities and are completely violating the law. What's worst is their staff doesn't even seem to care. So sad.

I first brought one of my children here for an emergency visit. The scheduler was extremely kind and accommodating. They were able to schedule us for a visit the next day. The office itself is clean and there are plenty of activities for children while they wait to be seen. My smallest one loved the little play area with slide and my oldest enjoyed playing on the tablets provided. We did not have to wait long and the Dentist was very professional and explained her findings to us very well. I scheduled a cleaning for both children the following week and while we did see a different Doctor, we had

I am active duty military and recently moved to El Paso. I chose E.P Dentistry for my children's dentist. I was able to get an initial appointment within a week. I love the inside. They have an inside playground for smaller children, tablets, and video games. The waiting area is very comfortable and inviting. We didn't have to wait long. During the first appointment it was discovered my son was developing two cavities. They were able to get me another appointment within a week. They were friendly and Dr. Cook was his doctor for the silver cap procedures and they made sure we both were

Always a great experience with both my kids' checkups! Really sweet dental assistants and very nice dentists. My kids get very excited for their visits! Waiting room is clean and lots of things for the kids to do while they wait. The receptionists are very nice and answer all my questions. Perfect place to bring your kids for their dental checkups and procedures! Definitely recommend!

I had never been into a children's dentist office before so maybe I'm just an easy one to impress but this place is AWESOME!
Bright orange & green chairs in a very large waiting are, a full jungle gym, at least 4 iPads mounted on the walls with counter height chairs!
Once the call your children back, you stay right with them and everything is very organized & efficient. The employees were all very nice and welcoming and the dentist was very detailed. Love this place & so happy that my grandchildren don't have to suffer through cold, sterile dentist offices. They actually

These guys were great! So nice a beautiful facility that really caters to kids! My son was successfully tired out running through the play area so when he went back to see the dentist he sat still and was cooperative. Very satisfied with our experience!

Play area is nice. Staff is friendly. It is very very clean. We have been seen 3 times there for cleanings only of my kids. Every time they call us back an hour after our scheduled time. This is unprofessional practice and disrespectful of peoples' time. If the place wasn't extremely clean, we would probably switch. Just because you have something to entertain children doesn't make it okay to be an hour late every time we go.

I bring all three of my children here. I never have had a problem here. They are really flexible with appointment times so that I do not have to miss work. I just came in today for my daughter to get her cavity filled. She has always been a nervous wreck with Dr's and dentists, but today Dr Lind and his assistant Belen were awesome. Belen was super sweet with my daughter and helped her stay calm. Thank you Belen! I was so worried about today's visit but all went well and we were out of there in no time! Than you Dr Lind for being great with her and talking to her throughout the process

Great service, wonderful with my children! I recently moved here from D.C. and needed to take my two boys, 2 and 4, to the dentist for a check up. I saw this place had good Yelp ratings and my insurance was accepted so I made an appointment. The neighborhood it is in appears a little sketchy at first but the office was amazing. Not only was it clean, there was a ton of stuff to keep my boys busy while they waited for their appointment. There was a t.v. playing a Disney movie, ample seating, cute decorations, a computer station with games (although I will say only one station appeared to be working

Previously, we had gone to kool smiles and decided to switch after usually waiting 2 hours or more to be seen. So glad we decided to switch! Decor of office is pleasant, office staff is very friendly, and overall treatment is so professional. My daughter had some sealants done, and was nervous... Irma and Erica were so sweet and accommodating! The hygienist who did the cleaning was very friendly and gave good information and the dentist (dr. Wu) was amazing! She definitely made my daughter more at ease while being so attentive!! Thank you EP dentistry!

We have been going here for two years and we love it there. As soon as you walk in, it's clean, bright and the staff is always there to greet you. There is a lot of things to keep your child entertained while you wait to be called.
We were greeted by Asst. Lilo who did my daughters x-rays. Once we were called back to get my daughter's teeth examined and cleaned, they had a movie for my child to watch while they performed her examine. Dental Asst. Erica and Dr. Wu, they were informative when I had a question and took their time to look at my child's teeth. I never ever have had a

From the moment we walk in the door, the staff does all it can to make the kids comfortable.
There are lots of fun distractions in the lobby, from computers to a jungle gym.
The hygienists seem to genuinely love kids and are very attentive. They do their best to make the kids feel at ease during x-Rays and the cleaning itself.
I especially appreciate that they let parents in the exam room. Some dentist offices don't and being as I have young children, I want to be there.
I highly recommend this place!
