Duchesne Preschool is a co-educational school for children, ages 3-5, of all faiths and backgrounds. The preschool is where the love of learning begins in our Sacred Heart family. As part of an international family of Sacred Heart schools, Duchesne is rooted in a mission that lives the Goals and Criteria of a Sacred Heart education.
The rich traditions of Sacred Heart Education are incorporated into the preschool program, and sensitivity to each child's abilities, potential, and readiness are emphasized. Services
Duchesne Academy is an all-girls, Catholic, Independent, Sacred Heart high school located in midtown Omaha. We have been educating young women for nearly 140 years. In the past 20 years, we added a co-ed preschool for children ages 3-5. Duchesne is a unique and wonderful school that celebrates our rich history while preparing our students for the challenges and opportunities of today and tomorrow.
Duchesne Academy and Preschool of the Sacred Heart are part of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools, an association of 24 Sacred Heart schools across the United States and Canada. The Network provides services and programs that promote and stimulate creative education and leadership framed by the Goals and Criteria.

Truly prepares you for college and life adventures. Teachers are genuinely concerned about students and give lots of 1V1 time and direction. Strong community ties that last longer than your four years. I’m graduating from college now and check back in with teachers and staff every break. I’ve heard lots of horror stories of high schools but I loved every minute of my experience.
