The staff of Middlebury Animal Clinic is dedicated to providing high quality veterinary medicine, client education, and developing long-term relationships with clients and their pets. Was visiting Indiana last week and my Chihuahua became ill, called my Veterinarian at home and they advised me to see someone local ASAP.

Dr. Amber Sheppard is a 2013 graduate of Purdue Universtiy School of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked at MAC for four years. Her favorite part of her job is doing surgery and interacting with clients. Dr. Sheppard lives in Mishawaka with her husband, Nick. They are the proud "parents" to a one year old Labradoodle named Winnie and two cats, Theodore and Sophia.
Jill is one of our R.V.T's here at MAC and has been here since 2019. Jill graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in Fort Wayne in March of 2019. Jill lives in Nappanee with her husband, Drew, and her two dogs, Willow the Labradoodle and Cassie the chocolate Lab. Her favorite part of working in veterinary medicine is working with geriatric patients and making sure their owners understand the treatment needed for their pets.

Every aspect of dealing with every employee was very positive. It was my first time going to them and I immediately felt comfortable leaving my buddy there for his procedure. They were all so kind, caring, and authentic. 10/10 would recommend!

OVER PRICED! want a good vet at half the cost of this one? Check out Topeka vet, loving and kind. They care not just about your animals but your pocket book. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and you'll save some money! They work on payments with you too. This vet does it because he loves animals and his job, NOT THE MONEY. Middlebury vet is way over priced. What would have cost me close to $700 in middlebury cost me $300 in Topeka!

We have gone here many years! Our dog now loves to come visit and is always happy when we leave. They support my wholistic approach when it comes to to many shots, and how I feed our dog and they are not pushy about it either. I highly recommend this office!

Gigi and I absolutely were at ease and not stressed with everything we experienced at Middlebury Animal Clinic. This was a first for my girl, since her bad experience at a Veterinarian as a puppy, all of those years ago. The Assistant and Veterinarian here, made Gigi's appointment very comfortable and positive. Thank you for that.

Middlebury Animal Clinic is the best one I have taken my pets to throughout the years. It's a 30 minute drive from where we live now, but I refuse to take our fur babies anywhere else. They are reliable and very professional. The vets take amazing care of the animals and you can tell they love their jobs. They are very honest in answering any questions you have and are upfront about what is going on with your pet, how much certain care will cost etc.
I appreciate the care they have given my fur babies over the years and look forward to the many years we have with them.

Each time my dog needs to visit the concern for my pet is apparent. They listen to my concerns about what my dog is experiencing and then develop a treatment plan. i've never felt rushed and have always been treated with respect. They are a class act Max and I are glad they are available when needed.

Each time I have taken my animals to this clinic, I have been disrespected by the technicians. They have used harsh, sarcastic tones, haven’t answered questions kindly, and today mentioned how “crazy” and “out of control” by puppy was. (He’s such a gentle giant so I was completely shocked by the words she used) When I got home with him today, I… noticed the entire section that they shaved (for him to be neutered) has scrapes, cuts and extreme razor burn. They shaved such a large section, so the cuts are also in areas that didn’t even need to be shaved

I brought my dog here to get neutered and they were super friendly and quick about everything. We showed up and he was already back getting started within 15 minutes. They also plucked his ear hairs free of charge and sent him home with a cute bag with goodies in it. Definitely will recommend this place to every pet owner I know! :)
