After struggling with a 5 year journey in orthodontics as a child, Dr. Bernstein decided to become an orthodontist to help make orthodontic treatment a more rewarding and engaging adventure for patients. At Bernstein Orthodontics, it is our mission to provide our patients with big, wide smiles in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Dr. Bernstein was born and raised in South Africa and attended the prestigious Wits Dental School finishing top of his class. He then completed his orthodontic specialty residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Following his residency, he accepted a fellowship position at the University where he became a clinical assistant professor in the orthodontic department.
At Bernstein Orthodontics, we take great pride in giving back to the community that has so graciously supported us throughout the years. I paid in full for my wife’s aligners and at the end of the treatment her teeth were not corrected. They informed us that the trays were their “in house trays” but they were going to then order the Invisalign brand aligners at the time we were moving out of state. They agreed to ship the trays and the manager Anthony had gave my wife false info that they would pay for the dental treatment as they failed to correct her teeth. The trays ended up taking over 6 months to me made and at the time they did not reply to my wife when she requested updates. After the extremely long wait they said that

You pay what you get for here. Miss an appointment? They schedule you a month later even if your mouth is in pain & scraped up because of a pokey wire. I was also told my braces would be off in 1.5 years and its past that now due to the bad scheduling. It's frustrating and wish I had paid more and gone somewhere else. So, if you are able to pay more go somewhere else.

Bernstein is amazing!! He did a phenomenal job on my teeth as a teenager. Fast forward 8yrs later my teeth still look amazing because of him. I can guarantee you he will get the job done. He’s not the cheapest option but by far the best option out there if you want the best results possible. Bernstein easily deserves a 5 star rating and more!

Ive had my braces on for over two years now and they have done a very good job with everything, from taking care of my braces’ needs and accommodating to my schedule! Although I do have a complaint, my very last appointment was rescheduled to an earlier time without giving me a heads up and without asking if I could make it, so I ended up missing it and have to wait until September to get them off but I won’t be able to make it to any appointments after July is over due to my class and work schedule. I recommend them to everyone looking for a good orthodontist, but they just messed up this
