We will do our best to verify your insurance benefits prior to treatment and will only collect your estimated patient portion at the time of service. For all other dental insurance plans, we will again do our best to contact your insurance provider to verify coverage and estimate your patient portion prior to treatment.
As an endodontist, Dr. Mark Conard underwent advanced training that equips him with the skills necessary to treat routine, as well as, complex endodontic cases. We utilize the most advanced technology available including digital radiography and surgical operating microscopes. Our goal at Intercoastal Endo is to make you feel as comfortable as possible while committing to the highest quality of dental care.
Root canal therapy involves cleaning the pulp tissue from inside the crown and roots of the tooth. The goal of root canal therapy is removal of all pulp tissue, vital or necrotic, microorganisms, and microbial byproducts from the root canal system. Before starting root canal therapy, the doctor will administer local anesthesia to ensure your complete comfort.
With proper care and dental hygiene, your teeth that have had endodontic treatment can last a lifetime. However, occasionally a tooth may not heal after initial root canal treatment. Every root canal case is different and unique. In some instances, our endodontist may recommend a root canal retreatment, which is almost identical to the original root canal procedure.
An apicoectomy is an endodontic surgical procedure that may be recommended when an infection develops or won't go away after root canal therapy or endodontic retreatment. Dr. Conard may suggest an apicoectomy if it is the best option for saving your natural tooth. We will discuss what is best recommended for you to ensure that you make an informed decision.

I was referred by my dentist and made an appt. 5 weeks ago for a root canal A few days ago I received a text that said all appointments have been cancelled from this date forward. I texted back asking for a reschedule and got no reply. My service would have been cash and did not involve insurance. Have no idea why my appointment was cancelled. Guess the one star if for giving me an appointment.

I highly recommend Intercoastal Endo! I was referred to Dr. Conrad for a root canal. I've had a root canal in the past, so I was not looking forward to this one. One all-encompassing word I can use to describe Dr. Conrad is the word "meticulous." He was ultracareful, exacting, and thorough. He has a great personality, too! The icing on the cake was that his assistant and office staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating as well. Thank you, Dr. Conrad! I will be referring you to everyone.

Definetly recommend intercoastal endo. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out the whole staff was very nice and professional. I suffer badly from anxiety and the whole office staff was very patient with me and made my visit go very smoothly.. Did not feel rushed at all. And I cant believe how I barely felt any pain or discomfort. Dr Conrad and Staff you all rock.. thank you so much.

I had an appointment for my daughter. Called to confirm 2HOURS before and was informed that her appointment has been cancelled. The front desk told me that the doctor was "not even in the office". I received no notice of a change in scheduling. The front desk could not find my appointment and then asked what type of insurance does she have. When provided with the insurance was informed that the office no longer accepts that insurance due to state regulations so she wouldn't have been able to be seen even if the doctor was in the office. With a 10 year old in pain, and me requesting time off work

- the front desk gives wrong information about prices.
I was waiting for the appointment for a root canal for 5 weeks. During this time I've called them 3!! times to ask the price for root canal retreatment. Cause I don't like to get any money surprises after the visit. They said one price. But after the visit, they charged me $135 extra. Very disappointing. And no way to find who is right who is wrong now...
- NO ONE tells you before the procedure that they put only a temporary filling for a MONTH and you need to go to your dentist for that.
They give you the paper saying this only after

I had an excellent experience with this practice. The office is clean and organized. Everyone I encountered was friendly and professional. Dr. Conard was very personable and thorough in his consult on my situation and answered all my questions clearly so I understood the course of action and the prognosis with and without treatment. I'll be returning to have the work done as he has earned my trust and if you go to this practice I'm confident he will earn yours as well.
