Thank you for visiting the website of Olentangy Pediatric Dentistry, the office of Drs. Jeffrey Milton, Monica Patel and Colleen Orellana. Helping children achieve optimal oral health is our passion. We are committed to providing comprehensive dental care for infants, adolescents and children with special needs.

Our office is conveniently located in Powell, Ohio. We also serve patients in Lewis Center, Dublin, Delaware, Marion, and Columbus, Ohio. We understand some children are apprehensive about visiting the dentist. Our team works diligently to provide our patients the highest standard of dental care in a pleasant and comfortable environment.
Services
Our experienced staff is especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care.
We try our best to accommodate our patients as much as possible when scheduling appointments. We have found that children with extensive dental work or preschool children are better to be seen early in the morning when they are fresher and can have a more positive experience. Some appointments may require the child to miss some school; however, these are considered excused absences.
Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered. Payment is expected at the time treatment is rendered, unless special arrangements have been made prior to your appointment. Additionally, we will submit all insurance claims for you for your convenience.
Throughout your life, you will have two sets of teeth: primary (baby) teeth and secondary (permanent) teeth. The primary teeth appear around ages 6-8 months, and all 20 are in place by age 3. Permanent teeth will begin to grow around age 6, and with the exception of wisdom teeth, are all present between ages 12 and 14.
Innumerable studies and research have concluded on the importance of starting children early in their lives with good dental hygiene and oral care. According to research, the most common chronic childhood disease in America is tooth decay, affecting 50 percent of first-graders and 80 percent of 17-year-olds.

My girls love going here - even my youngest, who is wary of new people, had a good experience.

There are not enough good things I can say about this practice. EVERYONE is amazing - including all front office staff. I can’t imagine taking my children anywhere else.

I’m disappointed in the lack of communication regarding their COVID policy. They have chosen not to polish teeth - only brush with a toothbrush until “children are vaccinated.” They should be communicating this ahead of time. I will be choosing another dentist for my children. I believe in having my Children’s teeth thoroughly cleaned twice a year and shouldn’t have to make a “special” appointment to do that or be told after the fact.

I was worried about how my 6yr old daughter would do getting her cavities fixed but they were a wonderful staff and dentist! They explained everything they were going to do to my daughter before they did it. They also just asked my daughter what she liked and just talked to her about little girl things and my daughter loved that. They took their time with her but not too long to where my daughter got restless! My daughter loved the fact that they had a tv with cartoons on the ceiling so she could watch her favorite show while getting work done. Overall I absolutely loved them and would recommend

My kids first dentist appointment was beyond amazing. The entire staff from start to finish was so sweet and professional. My kids say they want to work here when they grow up, if that tells you anything about how awesome this place is!

Both dentists at this office are spectacular. My son is wildly sensitive and they are so patient and work with him to make sure he understands the work they’re doing. The assistants are also basically magicians. One even has a fun little trick to use salt to help suppress gag reflex while getting xrays- game changer. We adore this office, and it is so worth a little extra drive.
