What a gem (pun intended) of a shop! I cannot describe how incredibly wonderful this store is and how PACKED it is with treasures and lovely items. I don't know how it is this store doesn't have more reviews. You could easily spend hours in here picking through the cabinets and bins. It's a fashion, costume, and vintage jewelry lover's dream ranging from brooches, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches and a few more knick-knacks. I told my girlfriends about it and we plan to visit together to spend more time treasure hunting. Carol, the proprietor, is super sweet and told me to take my time even

If an additional day could be added to a week I would spend it in this shop- It is amazing - so many things to look at. It is impossible not to leave with something - one of kind items make the best gifts. My mother and I usually make it a top 2 - 3 times each year. Carol is a wealth of knowledge on all the pieces she has in the store. She is always delightful as is the staff. Heading there once I complete this review. Just felt like i had to respond to the negative one - I have never had anything but positive experiences there! (and I am sure that today will not be any different)

I stop into this shop once / twice a year when I visit Northport - I do love antiques which they once housed, but focus entirely on 'vintage' jewelry of late. It is stuffed to the gills with some quite decent pieces and some absolute junk; most of it is overpriced. Its impossible to browse at leisure for fear of knocking something over which I did and quickly was chastised by the little lady behind the counter - this same person has been equally unpleasant each time I stop in. She isn't local, speaks with a slight accent, possibly German; clearly the communal N'port way of life
