Leslie joined the staff at JKCP in 1999 as a teacher. She became Assistant Director/teacher in 2005 and Director in 2012. Leslie believes in an integrated curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and encourages children to grow socially, emotionally, physically and academically through discovery and play.
John Knox Co-op Preschool has a thriving community of families that have loved this school for decades. Read just a few parent and family comment about their experience with JKCP. John Knox isn't just a preschool, it's a family. All three of my older children have attended 2 years of John Knox Co-op Preschool.
Visit us! Schedule a tour with our Director providing you the opportunity to observe the program in action. Each year our registration is based on the registration application list with priority going to current students and siblings and church members. Then we go to our registration application list to continue to fill the classes by the date the child's name was put on the list.

My child recently attended John Knox and it was an AMAZING experience for our whole family. We are so thankful to the teachers and families we met along the way for making our two years here so special. I can go on and on about what a great time we had here! Both of my children attended JKCP and I am thrilled with the environment that they got to go to each day. Between them, we were enrolled in all classes that they offer, 3 AM, 4, AM, and Pre-K. The balance of play and (appropriate) academic instruction was perfect. Both of them were extremely well prepared for the K - 12 environment, and are able to work well with their peers.
The collaboration between the teachers is awesome, and they truly include the parents to maintain the cooperative spirit. They set realistic and attainable goals for the kids to meet and support each child within their abilities

My kindergartener attended JKCP last year and I have so many wonderful things to say about them. We moved to Dublin too late to enroll her so I put her on the waiting list over the summer. We were very lucky that another family was leaving the area in October so we were offered a spot. We were invited to come visit during class time so we could make a decision. Everyone was so welcoming and the classroom was so vibrant we started her there the very next day.
Despite starting late we were welcomed by the staff and so many of the other parents introduced themselves and welcomed me. Mrs. James and

This is wonderful experience for my family. We learned about the school 4 years ago when my son is 4 years old. However, since we are expecting the third child and super busy, we have to pass the opportunities. It is a great regret. So, I sign up for my third child right away when she just turn 2. Luckily we got in at the last minutes and my daughter really loves the school.
Whenever she wakes up, the first word she told me that today she is going to John Knox school and starts preparing herself. It is wonderful.

I have two daughters, 22 and 18 years old, who attended John Knox Co-Op preschool. They both attended the 3 year old program and the 4 year old program. I could not have asked for a BETTER preschool. My girls were well prepared for kindergarten. They both were accepted into public and private universities :)
The classes have only 24 students. The classes are usually always a 12/12 ratio of boys to girls or close to it. John Knox is a Co-Op so there is always 3 parent helpers with 2-4 teacher in the classroom at all times. The 4 teachers are all fabulous! They each are positive, nurturing

Have my twins here now, and they absolutely love this place, From day 1, there was no hesitation, which was a bit suprising as they can be a bit clingy to us. The staff is always friendly and very much involved in their activities. Volunteering is part of the requirements to attend, however, this was not a huge time commitment, so if you are looking for a reasonably priced pre-school, if there is on in the Valley, then this is a great place to go. Kids are ready for K, so they must be doing something right here!

This is a great pre-school my 3 year old is just finishing her first year and she LOVES school. The teachers are so nice and have so much patience with the kids it is unbelievable. There are usually a long waiting lists to get into this school, my older daughter could not get in and went to another pre-school in the area; Therefore, I put my second daughter on the waiting list when she was born. I am so happy we got in the parents are so nice too I have made some great friends and can't wait till next year. If you are debating if you should do a co-op I would highly recommend it you volunteer
