Glackin Physiotherapy
We help those struggling with pain understand and recover, without pain medication and without surgery. We treat ALL Orthopedic conditions: spine, shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand, hip, knee and ankle/foot. Understanding pain and participating in mobility regimens designed to improve mobility and strength are key in restoring pain-free movement in the lower spine.

The result of muscle irritation has numerous causes, including, but not limited to: poor posture, jaw malalignment, clicking, surgical history, and poor biting habits. Pelvic floor issues are common but rarely talked about. They can cause, but are not limited to: pain with intercourse, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain and constipation.
Services
How long to heal? How hard to push? We never received an Owner's Manual, and it shows in the injuries we develop and the surgeries we have. At Glackin Physiotherapy, we teach you about your body. This allows you to not only recover, but to succeed with whatever physical ailments are thrown your way.
Your first visit will be a comprehensive evaluation of movement dysfunction, consisting of joint restriction, neural mobility, and muscle extensibility. As written by the American Physical Therapy Association, Maryland is an Unrestricted, Direct Access state. There are no restrictions or limitations whatsoever for treatment outside a referral from a physician.
We've decided to open up shop within Kinetic Systems on Red Branch Road. Kinetic Systems Strength and Conditioning is a world-class facility with specialists in the field of Exercise Science. The 3600-square foot facility is complete with Olympic lift racks, sleds, turf, kettlebells, bands, rings, gymnastic bars, exercise enthusiasts, knowledgeable coaches, and, best of all, your physical therapists at Glackin Physiotherapy, LLC.
The temporomandibular joint, or TMJ for short, is the joint responsible for opening and closing your mouth. It's name comes from the interaction between the temporal bone (the bone on the side of your skull) and the mandible (a fancy way of saying the jaw bone). Like many other joints, the TMJ has a complex interactions of muscles, tendons, a TMJ disc, and ligaments to keep it stable and functioning properly.
The neck, also known as the cervical spine, consists of 37 joints. Wow. That is a great deal of information for a neck specialist to know. This extensive joint structure allow for the greatest amount of motion than any other location in the spine.

This large amount of motion in the neck is needed to carry out various activities of daily living: checking your blind spot when driving your car, tracking a soccer ball through the air, or watching your kids run up and down the basketball court. To allow for these tasks, the neck must be ready to provide quick and stable motions.

My first experience with Glackin Physiotherapy was excellent. Daniel was great at explaining the path that I need to go and what steps to take while I’m going through this transition.

Brandon is a very professional and knowledgeable physiotherapist. He explains everything he is doing and works with/on you for the entire session unlike other physiotherapist who give you exercises and leave to work with multiple patients. I would and have Highly Recommended him as he is compassionate and highly motivated to get you back on track quickly.

Started going to Dr. Glackin for my TMJ and I feel extremely confident that he will be able to help. He is very knowledgeable about all the muscles involved in TMJ and uses multiple methods to treat it. He explains everything in advance and constantly checks to make sure you’re comfortable. I already feel some relief and am excited to continue PT with him!

I'm a fireman, I ruptured my Achilles tendon on duty and needed to have it surgically repaired. I came here for physical therapy and I'm very glad I did. Brendan had excellent attention to detail- he took note of every deficiency I had, not just with my Achilles but with the secondary and tertiary problems that come with the injury and 2 months of being on crutches. Brendan was exhaustive with my rehabilitation- we worked on getting my range of motion and strength back, as well as reversing improper walking and weight lifting form that had developed as a result of my body compensating for my injury

Glackin Physiotherapy is the best physical therapy experience I’ve had to date (and I’ve had many). Brendan is a great guy who makes his goal that of his patient's. He is honest about his opinions and wants to ultimately get the best recovery results.
