I have always had a passion for image making ever since I took my first photography class back in junior high. I am inspired by the love I have for the mountains I call home, the people I meet and cultures I experience on my journey. I have created images of many different subjects, scenes, and moments all over the world.
I have worked on projects for the real estate industry, educational institutions, wine industry, wedding industry, eco nature as well as personal interest projects, I have had the unique opportunity of taking the roll of photojournalist and documentarian working along side of world renowned image maker Rick Chapman.

We recently traveled to Duluth for our maternity pictures with Mark and he did an amazing job! We live in the cities but Duluth has always been a special place for us so we wanted to get our pictures taken there. He was so easy to work with, we had a lot of fun, and he captured some amazing pictures!

I have had the pleasure of working with and knowing Fitz for years. His vision and ideas for photography are nothing short of amazing. He has photographed both my daughter and son, and the images he captures for them WILL make your face leak. No matter what the occassions or reason for getting your photos taken, Fitz should always be at the top of your list!

It's well over a decade that I've been working with Fitz Photo. I've hired Fitz for corporate work (Simon Property Group), nonprofit (events, staff photos, videos for the YMCA and United Way) and he has produced work for me personally (head shots, senior portraits and more) and professionally (I've hired Fitz for my own clients) He is also incredibly generous with gifting his time to nonprofit events for the entire community. I consider Fitzphoto my go-to for all my needs. He's the Northland's photographer and should be your first call.

Mark is a wonderful photographer you will be happy with his photos but our experience was a nightmare.
Make sure you confirm your photo shoot the day of because he might schedule you on the wrong day or forget about you altogether.
Make sure you ask about all of your session options and ask for a pricing sheet. He is 4 times higher than all of the other photographers I spoke with or any other shoots our friends experienced. If you’re willing to pay thousands of dollars on your pictures by all means hire Fitz photography.

I have known Mark for over 25 years and his continued dedication to his craft is unparalleled! He has shot my wedding in 1996, professional head shots for real estate and did live band photos over the years. His kind, caring and innovative thinking behind the camera makes every session unique and fun. It has been an honor to work with Mark, but most of all to be able to call him a friend! Mark not only has talent behind the camera, but is flexible, communicates well and really cares for those he works with. I have been referred to him multiple times by so many people and everyone has the same comment. "Mark is amazing...mark is great....love working with Mark...ect". You won't be disappointed. He's great with kids, adults and graduating seniors. The senior photos I have seen are all unique to that senior

Mark works with us photographing various events for United Way. He has also helped us with videography for our campaign videos. He is very generous with his time and skills. Mark does a fantastic job capturing the essence of each event and is great to work with! I would highly recommend Fitz Photo for both photography and videography!
