Did you know that ALL Orthodontists are General Dentists, but NOT all General Dentists are Orthodontists? An Orthodontist is a general dentist who continues his or her full-time education to receive comprehensive training specifically aimed at correction of misaligned teeth and improper jaw function.
By limiting our focus to orthodontics alone, orthodontic specialists are able to provide the best possible care for patients seeking to improve their smile. Our goal at Accent Orthodontics is to create beautiful, healthy smiles for our patients that will be valued for a lifetime! Leading edge orthodontic care with traditional braces, clear ceramic braces, and Invisalign.

Services
As an Orthodontic specialist, Dr. Lisa Mangiarelli is uniquely qualified to provide exceptional orthodontic care for children, adolescents and adults. She has built her practice around attention to detail, and loves creating beautiful smiles. She offers traditional orthodontic care, but especially enjoys treating complex cases involving jaw surgery as well as dental implant preparation alongside her husband, Dr. David A Beltran.
Dr. Lisa Mangiarelli will conduct a thorough clinical orthodontic examination and explain all aspects of treatment herself. If orthodontic treatment is indicated at this time, we recommend that Diagnostic Records are scheduled. If time allows, these diagnostic records can be taken at the initial visit.
As a matter of convenience to patients, Dr. Mangiarelli also offers an automatic draft from checking accounts or credit cards. We will review all the fees associated with treatment and the financial options available during your complimentary orthodontic consultation. It is our goal to provide the highest quality of orthodontic treatment that is affordable to you and your family!
We get this question a lot. As a rule of thumb, we like to evaluate young patients after the 6-year molars erupt and the front permanent teeth just start to appear. This is usually between the ages of 6 and 8. The American Association of Orthodontics recommends that all children be seen for the first time by age 7.
It's more important than ever to brush and floss regularly when you have braces, so the teeth and gums are healthy during orthodontic treatment. Patients who do not keep their teeth clean may require more frequent visits to the dentist for a professional cleaning. Adults who have a history of gum disease should also see a periodontist during orthodontic treatment.

I started with this establishment 5 years ago when my oldest daughter put on her braces. The experience was so positive that I took my other daughter to put on her braces too. I am also thinking of putting mine on after my daughter finishes her treatment. Dr. Mangiarelli is an excellent doctor and the staff is friendly and professional. I would recommend it 100%.

I had only a slightly imperfect smile that I wanted to straighten. Dr. Mangiarelli shaved my front tooth without warning and/or even consulting me 6 months into my treatment. My front tooth is now forever, irreversibly misshapen. Dr. Mangiarelli told me I could "get a veneer" after my treatment to fix the tooth that she misshaped! However, this "solution" to the issue she caused would not only worsen the situation (as having ONE veneer in the front of your mouth would be so obvious as veneers have a very smooth/ perfect surface while natural teeth do not) but also it would&apos
