With a love of science and a strong interest in medicine, Dr. Renee Owen knew she wanted to be a dentist at a young age. She received her B.S. degree with honors in human biology from Michigan State University's Lyman Briggs School in 2004. Following graduation, Dr. Owen practiced as an associate in two central Michigan general dental offices where she expanded her clinical skills and dental knowledge working with excellent mentors.

A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
Pediatric oral care has two main components: preventative care at the pediatric dentist's office and preventative care at home. Though infant and toddler caries (cavities) and tooth decay have become increasingly prevalent in recent years, a good dental strategy will eradicate the risk of both. The goal of preventative oral care is to evaluate and preserve the health of the child's teeth.

If I could give a 0 star I would! I have never given a bad review before because I usually come to a resolution but apparently this office doesn't truly care about their patients from my experience. I just moved from out of state and it took 3 months to get in but 2 days before my appointment someone from this office called and said that my new patient paper work needed to be turned in 2 weeks before my appointment so she was canceling it and tried to reschedule me for another 3 months out. I told her I had never heard of that before and normally I get to a dentist 30 mins early and fill the paperwork

Update: It continues to be wonderful. Dr. Renee and her staff are very caring and nice. I am so happy to have found her and been accepted as her patient.
This was my first visit to Dr. Renee and could not be happier. I feel very confident with having her and her staff perform the procedures that were discussed today. The prices given for work done and upcoming are extremely affordable since I don't have insurance. Am so glad I found her and they made room for me in their busy schedule.
