Services
In addition to dispensing of prescription medicines, we help our customers manage their medications. We are careful to advise customers of possible interactions with other medicines or side effects for new prescriptions. Also we have the ability to flavor medications for children in numerous flavors including: grape, bubble gum, cherry and many more.
Have you heard about the new Shingles vaccine? Shingrix is recommended for all individuals 50 years of age and older, even if you received the old shingles vaccine (Zostavax). This vaccine helps protect infants and children from whooping cough and is recommended for close family members of newborns, including grandparents, and for pregnant women.
Medicine Mart accepts students from across the state, including from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy, Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy and South University School of Pharmacy. We welcome students at any stage in their pharmacy career, from first-year pharmacy students to fourth-year students.

My husband uses this pharmacy on Rosewood Drive but today in searching for rapid covid tests we stopped here. The staff was friendly but forget competitive pricing! They charged more than double for the FlowFlex rapid covid tests than the nearby CVS pharmacy about a mile away. Very disappointed and felt like this was gouging the customer.

Greatest Pharmacy and folks working there that you will ever find. They go the extra mile (always) and keep working with the insurance company until they get it figured out. Most pharmacists can get your prescriptions filled, but the staff at Medicine Mart is the friendliest I have EVER experienced. Every time I go in, at least two staff members will talk to me, usually by name. You can tell that the Connellys train their staff to be caring with their customers. It’s rare in this day to find customer service as good as what you find at the West Columbia Medicine Mart.

There are good reasons to use Medicine Mart Pharmacy. The prices are competitive for sure but more than anything the professional pharmacists and the staff cannot be beat. If you want lowest price, go to Wal-Mart or another discount pharmacy but no where will you find better service, clinical expertise and attention to detail for the benefit of the customer and patient better than right here. They know your name when you walk in the door. Prescriptions are filled quickly and correctly and they work collectively with local physicians to insure that the health and welfare of the patients they serve
