Upon receiving her Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology from the College of Charleston in 1994, Landy continued her stay in the low country to earn a Bachelor's in Pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1997.After 10 years in the Charleston area, Landy relocated to Northeast Columbia.

A few weeks ago I went in and not a single member of this pharmacy was wearing a mask, they all went to reach for them as we walked in, and were even making fun of having to do so. Landy and everyone who works there should be embarrassed to work in healthcare, willingly endangering the people (often elderly and already sick) that they come into contact with. COVID-19 is not a joke, but everyone who works here seems to think so. Take your business elsewhere to people who actually care about your health. Landy’s pharmacy is a welcome addition if you’re looking for personalized care and non-big box pharmacy option. They are also one of the few compounding and quality CBD pharmacies in Columbia. I can say, in response to another review, I’ve never seen them without masks and know they take every precaution to safely serve their customers during the pandemic.

If you are trying to be safe during Covid, this isn’t the pharmacy to patronize. I called two days before I went to pick something up to be sure they had what I needed and that everyone was wearing masks. I’m high risk and have two very high risk parents who both just had major surgeries and I was picking up an item one of them asked for. I was… told everyone has masks on there but when I walked through the doors of the very tiny pharmacy, only one or two employees out of five had them on. Landy helped me today to find a medicine to help my son. She offered to find it but couldn’t. She offered to make it but couldn’t source the ingredients. Then she discussed similar meds that may help, most of them he had already tried. She really went out of her way to help me. No one else had offered me so much help. I am grateful to have found her.
