As a child, Dr. Cottingham always thought she would pursue a career in the healthcare field, but it was ultimately orthodontics that grabbed her full attention. The results achieved through the orthodontic process are truly amazing, especially when it restores a person's confidence in his/her smile.
Our friendly experienced team is always caring and accommodating to our patients. If you or your family have been to our office in the past, you will certainly recognize the many familiar faces. Most of our staff have been with our office for over 15 years, some up to 35 years. They have seen multiple generations of families over the years, treating kids, parents, and grandparents.

They were in for a huge challenge with me but I was promised that they would be with me all the way!
It is estimated that 20% of all American children are living with moderate to severe malocclusions (crooked teeth and misaligned jaws). Many come from working families living in poverty. Without assistance, these children will not receive the treatment they need. Smiles Change Lives (SCL) serves kids who suffer from the social, emotional, and physical repercussions of dental deformities such as missing, broken and impacted teeth.

Dr .Cottingham is a GREAT Orthodontics.
The Dr.C and staff are all very professional and friendly. They put your dental concern first .I had braces put on my bottom teeth only. My concern was to straightened and tightened, my bottom teeth. Dr.C made it happen ,what a difference and let me say I’m a senior who would refer Dr.Cottingham to the world,

Get your orthodontics at Cottingham's!! SERIOUSLY, not only is she such an amazing and bright woman, so are her staff! ☺️ Just got my braces off today after 2 years and I feel fantastic!! Let me tell you, my teeth needed some serious care and they CARED! She has an office in Indy as well as Avon so it's pretty convenient for many and you just can't find a more caring set of people! I gave Cottingham a huge hug before I left as I'm so grateful! At almost 29 years old now, I had wanted braces all my life. They made my dream come true! Can't thank them enough!!! 😁😁😁

I have nothing bad to say about her orthodontic skills..my son's teeth look much better. During one of my son's first appointments she said to me "you have a terrible underbite. Bite down. Oh nevermind, it looks good." They also expected a 9yo to tell me what the plan was. We had already paid for our whole service time so we were stuck. She smacks and pops gum the whole time during consultations. She is unprofessional and rude. The scheduling is not flexible so be ready to miss a lot of school.

Dr. Cottingham took the extra time needed to correct my smile that previous rounds of braces, retainers and invisalign could not fix. As an adult patient I needed to endure a palate expander to truly correct my smile. Dr. Cottingham clearly explained, shared my X-ray pictures and models to help me understand what previous years of ortho torture could not properly execute.

Highly recommend ♡ I just got my braces off today at 26! Two years ago I decided to get my teeth fixed and it's been the best experience w braces I could hope for. Two of my girls have had braces on, one of them twice due to having some teeth knocked out, every time we have been in the office the staff and Dr. Cottingham have been amazing! I have one more child to still get braces, in a few more years. I wouldn’t go to anywhere else. Great people, great place, great experience!

After wearing braces in my mid-20’s but not being diligent in wearing my retainer, my spacing issues had slowing returned. Fast forward 40 years. I gathered the courage to schedule a consultation with Cottingham Orthodontics. Encouraged by Dr. Cottingham and staff, I decided to go for it! After about a year of wearing braces I now have the results I had hoped for! My teeth look great!

Don't fill out the "confidential survey"! It's not confidential!! After giving my review (wasn't happy with the office), Dr. Cottingham emailed my BOSS! Asked her why I would give such a bad review. Then she talked about my job performance! If she had a question about my review, she should of called ME, not my boss!!! Dislike this office very much!!
