Our staff has combined experience of over 75 years! We work as a team to provide the best care for our patients. From your first visit to your last, we hope to make sure that you always feel welcome, taken care of, and have all questions answered. Dr. Vaughn was born and raised in Central Indiana and he feels very fortunate to have the opportunity to practice in the community where he grew up.
We want to make paying for your orthodontic treatment as easy as possible. We offer three (3) financial payment options to our patients and their families. Please review these and choose what works best for you. If you are interested in the No Initial Payment Plan option with Care Credit, you can apply before your first visit without committing to begin treatment.
At Chapman Orthodontics, we offer a FREE consultation to our patients. During this consultation we will sit down with you and listen to your concerns, answer any questions, and review your reasons for seeking orthodontic treatment. Our treatment coordinator, Judy Brewer, will go over your medical and dental history with you, and then Dr. Chapman will examine your teeth, bite and jaw joints.
These are some common orthodontic concerns. A description is given and a video showing the concern and the orthodontic correction is below. Crowding is the lack of space for all the teeth to fit normally within the jaws. The teeth may be twisted or displaced. Crowding occurs when there is disharmony in the tooth to jaw size relationship, or when the teeth are larger than the available space.
Refer to the instructions given to you when the separators/spacers were placed. Extra separators/spacers were provided in the small envelope attached to the instructions. If the wire cannot be tucked away, cover the end of the wire with a small piece of wax, a cotton ball, or a piece of sugarless gum, until you can see us for an adjustment.
