I have been seeing Dr Patterson for over two years. I live in Amador County and was unable to find a primary dr here. I am most comfortable with him. He is alert on all my issues and I have many. I am 71. Nice, clean office. No problem in reaching him nor with prescription refills. He also has a good sense of humor which I like. His wife is my vet! I like her too. 😁

Dr. Shane Patterson does not sugar coat things, and do you really want that from someone who's job it is to keep you alive? I respect his honesty and ability to diagnose medical issues. He does not over-complicate things, and he does not let political correctness get in the way of dispensing the truth. I think its refreshing, even though others might get offended. He is your doctor, he's not paid to be your friend.

Rude, condescending, rough in physical treatment, I'm a senior and he fat shamed me, I realize this can just be his personality but his bedside manner is terrible people come to you when they're feeling bad they're feeling sick they're in pain they don't expect to be fat shamed or tried to twist them into a pretzel because their back is hurting especially when they're over 60 years of age and have arthritis this doctor is not a good fit for anyone who needs compassion.
My daughter saw him and now she won't even make an appointment to see a doctor she hasn&apos

Dr. Patterson has been my Doctor for over 4 years. Great attention to your health and care.
Recently I fractured my wrist. Texted Dr. Patterson and he responded in less than 5 minutes. I told him I had slipped and hurt my wrist. He set up X-ray to be done immediately for me. Went straight to hospital and had X-ray done. Dr. Patterson reviewed my X-ray and let me know I had fractured my wrist. He set up an appointment for me the next day with an Orthopedic Doctor. Went to appointment and they had surgery scheduled for me the next day.
I am so thankful for the excellent treatment I received.

The most abusive and uncaring doctor with absolutely NO compassion whatsoever. Filing a complaint with the medical board, as he should NOT be seeing patients. Twice he absolutely smacked me on my inflamed knee... what's that all about???? He was not only verbally abusive, but physically as well. He belongs in a jail cell, not working with people.

I have had Dr. Patterson for about a year now. He has been a breath of fresh air compared to other doctors. He immediately responds to text message questions and concerns. Under his care I am longer on any meds and I've lost 20 lbs. l recently texted a concern and within 15 minutes he arranged lab work and an ultrasound for the next day. This is how healthcare should be!
Thank you Dr. Patterson

This is the worst doctor my husband has ever seen. He was beyond rude. He was an outright a-hole. He insinuated that my husband received pain management medications illegally because his last refill wasn't in the system from his past doctor in Nevada. He told him he was unprepared for his appointment because he didn't have all his records when he had already given them the information for his past doctor. He didn't want to give him a quit smoking aide. He judged him on his t shirt and shoes that he wore to his appointment. My husband is in a high stress job and has to wear boots

I love him. i have seen so many doctors and all they want is to push meds. when i got here, he immediatly put me on a diet plan to get rid of my diabetes & i can say i no longer take meds for it after only 3 months & 30lbs lost. he pushes me which is what i have needed to put myself first so i can be here for my son. if your looking for a dr to sugar coat things & not be honest with you then you need to find a different doctor.

What an awful dr.
My doctor left town and we got him by default. I was caring for my Dad, who had Alzheimers, and patterson decided it was best for Dad to not have any blood work or tests during the year we were his patients. After we left and found a doctor who actually listened to our concerns and showed care for his patients, Dad received the much needed check up and routine blood work, and thus we discovered that he had cancer, which had gone unchecked and unknown for enough time that he had to undergo surgery. He never recovered and passed away within six weeks.
My friend had him prior
