MACT Health Board
Our Board of Directors would like to share their appreciation and thanks for allowing the work crew to come to San Andreas to construct the Roundhouse Ramada. The Roundhouse Ramada project was a vision that our Board has wanted to accomplish for many years. Our San Andreas facilities are located on about 5 acres on the corner of Highway's 12 and 49.

The clinics were placed on the higher portion of the property, and a variety of indigenous plants were placed in the lower portion of the property. Honored Elders come to the area and gather materials for use in basket weaving and medicines. The Board wanted to construct an area where the Elders could gather during this process to take a rest break and socialize.
Services
Mariposa, Amador, Calaveras & Tuolumne Health Board, Inc. operates multiple health care facilities in the four counties we serve. Services are available to all American Indians and their family members, as well as the general public in the community and are provided in an atmosphere that respects and supports American Indian traditions, values, and beliefs.
Our Patient Handbook covers emergency information, your rights as a patient, accepted insurance providers, billing for clinic services, and our policy for service animals. Read through our Patient Handbook online or download the PDF version. MACT Health Board, Inc. is continually making every effort to improve the quality of care that our patients receive.
Patients are encouraged to schedule appointments in advance. A patient who fails to arrive at the clinic within 15 minutes of their scheduled appointment time or fails to cancel their appointment 24 hours prior to the scheduled time will be considered to have "broken appointment". A patient that has three broken appointments within a six calendar month period will not be allowed to schedule an appointment in advance.
To refill a prescription, please contact your preferred pharmacy and let them know what prescription(s) you need. The pharmacy will contact your provider and submit your request. We understand that sometimes unexpected circumstances may make you need to cancel an appointment. If you must cancel your appointment, please call the clinic of which you were scheduled as soon as possible.
The Native American Services Case Managers in our clinics function to explain available services to Native Americans and to assist in determining eligibility for PRC and Direct Care. The specialists assist PRC eligible patients with the PRC referral process. Coordinate Direct Care patient eligibility and policies.

When I first met the optometrist at Mact Health I was told my glasses and examination would be $385, which I paid. Then I get a letter saying I owe an additional $115.00 plus $26.20. My glasses now are going to cost over $500. I will go to Sierra Eye Care next time.

The best of the best! This office is clean, professional and honest. Gina Vanderhorst, the dental hygienist, did an AMAZING job cleaning my teeth. This was by far the best cleaning I ever had. She administered the longest and most detailed cleaning I ever had. Not only was she extremely thorough, she has one of the most pleasant personalities, always checking in with me on my level of pain (no pain at all), very punctual, and she was very informative about my gum health. The staff, including Dr. B, are simple excellent. Thank you Gina, Dr. B (excellent) and the sweet receptionists at Mact Dental

Amazing staff, not only are they efficient with their time they are amazing with both myself and my son. They remember us and are always smiling and have positive attitudes here. I would recommend this dentist office as a whole above any I've ever had before.

Took my 3 year old son here for his well child and he had to have shots. His provider was not only patient but kind, and the MAs and Nurses were so so good at their job. He didn't even cry when he got the shots!

What a horrible place to walk into.. I've always thought that when you took so much time to learn and do something you wanted, you took pride in that. Not these day, I walked in and everyone had a look on their face like it was the first time they ever saw that door open... then looked away. Who's paying these people anyway.. I called a couple days before and when I had talked to a lady I thought "shoot, I'll give it another try because maybe she was having a bad day" somewhere along those lines. Hahaha. Ladies, do yourself a favor and do the job you chose to do. Get

BBBBZZZZTTTT Thanks for playing.

Like every other Indian Health Services clinic, patient treatment suffers due to untrained and lazy staff, obnoxious supervisors and cubicle-warrior administrations made out of rejects from junior college that think they are God's Gift to Healthcare.

IHS says that because clinics are required to take Medicaid and Medicare that they have to have practitioners working there who take it. Nope - all they have to have is one per field in the whole organization.

Agree w the previous poster who says it's nothing more than a cash mill for the tribe consortium
