We know your home is one of the largest investments in your life. Our professional installers are here to help you complete your roof replacement, water leak repair or inspection with the same quality and care we would use for our own home. Located in Edmonds for over 45 years we have stood apart from our Snohomish County Area roofing contractor competitors with exceptional industry knowledge & professionalism.
In order to help you better understand the re-roofing process, we have developed the following guidelines to ensure that each customer gets what they pay for quality products and installation every time. We take pride in communicating with our customers throughout the entire process and are available to answer any questions you may have.
Addicott Roofing mostly installs architectural shingles, which are longer lasting and have higher wind resistance. We nail all the shingles instead of stapling. Black baked enamel flashing is used for all of our valleys, chimneys, skylights and roof to wall. We make a conscientious effort to pull all nails that held previous roofs.
We don't believe this should stop you from starting to build equity in your own home today. For most of us, our home represents our family's single largest investment. When you think about it, between the mortgage, property taxes, insurance, heating and cooling expenses, and regular maintenance costs, the home requires a large part of your income.
Pride of ownership, quality craftsmanship, and the wonderful Puget Sound come to mind when referring to our very own home town, Edmonds, WA! It's truly one of Snohomish Counties gems. We specialize in the roofing shingles commonly found in Edmonds (high-end luxury shingles) such as CertainTeed Presidential TL or WeatherBond TPO, but for a reasonable price.

Rod Addicott, owner, is a throwback to the concept of value and exceptional customer service. We had his company replace our home roof, garage roof, skylight installation and seamless gutters. His crew were prompt, courteous and knew exactly what they were doing, coming at 8a.m. and leaving at 7p.m. with Rod and son coming every day to make sure the job was going correctly. I waited until we had some good rain storms before I gave this review and all is as it should be, we are thrilled with their work and sincerely recommend Addicott Roofing for your home. They came out to assess the project to be completed. Recommended certain products and informed us about the unknowns that came with tearing off a roof.
The folks who performed the work are professional installers that knew exactly what they're doing. Watching them for 1 minute--it was clearly evident that they could probably do their job blind folded.
Conclusion is that Addicott Roofing is a no-brainer to hire for your roofing

I had 4 different contractors come to look at my carport roof. I found Rod Addicott to be highly knowledgeable and professional in his assessment. He was not trying to increase the size or scope of the job beyond what we needed. He spoke clearly about the different options and the prices were very reasonable.
When they came out to do the job, they got it done efficiently and cleaned up. Now that the rainy season is in full force, we can see even better what a great job they did. The roof looks nice and is no longer holding water and leaking. I would definitely call them for my future roof issues

Professional and efficient! We had Addicott roofing replace our old roofing with an asphalt shingle roof as well as accomplishing a torch down on our deck. Also replacement of all gutters. Scheduling was prompt and efficient, Rod was very helpful with selecting type and color of our roofing. He was also instrumental with providing expert suggestions for a new torch down deck and drainage solutions. The gutter color perfectly matches our trim color.

Kind of surprised by the couple negative reviews here, seems people are too quick to judge. Personally, the people I know that have used Addicott Roofing said they were the gold standard for the biz. Because of that, I recently hired them to for some repairs on my roof and they were darn quick, did a great job and had a very fair price. I would definitely recommend them for anyone in the north end.

Positive: best price of 4 estimates, workers did a good job.
Negative: the owner does not respond promptly to phone calls/emails; doesn't keep in touch to let you know what's going on. I practically had to chase him down to see when we were scheduled for a new roof. He says he'll call you back but doesn't until you contact him twice. If you have the patience for this, then give them a call.
