Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, known affectionately as 'Dr. Mo' is an Ivy league educated and trained dentist. He is also the proud owner of Herndon Dental Arts. Dr. Mo has over 16 years of experience and specializes in general, cosmetic and implant dentistry. He is known for his gentle touch and caring demeanor.
Dr. Zand received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from University of Maryland in 2006. She is a general dentist who enjoys and practices many aspects of dentistry including root canals, Invisalign, Veneers, implants, crown/bridges, fillings, teeth whitening and basically all that helps promote oral health and complete wellness!

Originally started my dentistry aspects of my life with another firm, I satisfied with crazy cost, excuses, stale culture, and billing issues. Researched many practices across the local area, and made a commitment with HDA. This small firm nestled away in Herndon is welcoming, warm, and knowledgeable. Our family has been using HDA for several years now and not once has it fallen below a five-start review. Dr. Zand and her staff treat their patients like family. My kids actually get excited every time they have an appointment. From regular cleanings to Invisalign to tooth repair due to injury, we have done it all at HDA and will continue to recommend Dr. Zand and her amazing staff.

Dr. Zand is A-W-E-S-O-M-E! She's very knowledgeable, and she answered all of my three hundred questions about Invisalign. Her team has been extraordinarily courteous since Day 1, and I'm glad I got a consult to finally get Invisalign. My family and I have been going to Dr. Zand for many years and would not think of going with anyone else. She is very kind, extremely knowledgeable in her field of dentistry and only recommends dental work if it is needed, not just to make money for dental work that is not needed. Her staff (Vivian, Christina and dental assistant Lillian) are also very efficient and customer friendly. I highly recommend her services as well as her new colleague Dr. G who also is a very skilled dentist.

Fantastic dentist! Dr. Zand is the best dentist that I’ve had. She cares about your full dental experience. I’ve always dreaded the dentist before I started going to her practice (I literally used to have panic attacks). She and her staff are welcoming and bright. I regret that my upcoming move will necessitate finding another dentist. Dr. Zand is terrific. I never feel pressured to get cosmetic treatments (as I have at other dentists). She has proven her integrity to me and her professionalism. I also sent my husband and son to see her, and they are equally pleased. If you are looking for a dentist, look no further.

A very nice experience. I have a bit of anxiety about going to the dentist which resulted in a several year gap between cleanings. Yelp led me to call Dr. Zand and after my first appointment I left very impressed. The facility was modern and well equipped, the staff friendly and helpful and the prices very reasonable. Most importantly, however, Dr. Zand took the time to meet, talk with me and make me feel comfortable beforehand which put my mind at ease (she was also nice enough to not judge me for my long gap between previous appointments).

Dr. Zand and her staff were wonderful. I'm not one to get excited to go to the dentist, but they make you feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Zand explained everything she was doing and assured me to let her know if anything was wrong. Christie was working the front desk that day and she is amazing. Great personality and helped explain the insurance to me. Quick in and out visit; would definitely go back! :)

Dentist visit can be a daunting experience and this was my first visit to one (let's say in quiet a while), I read good reviews about Dr. Zand and surprisingly when I contacted the clinic she was the one who picked up my call. I explained the complaint of having a tooth ache near my wisdom tooth area and Dr. Zand immediately asked me the usual suspects (questions) regarding the pain intensity and how long its been since my last visit to a dentist. Dr. Zand and her front desk are awesome! So real and friendly. Not only does she do great work, she is so nice, generous, and has a great personality. I've had a few fillings done and just had a great experience overall. She even squeezed me in on Christmas eve when I broke a tooth. I never want to go to any other dentist. My first experience with HDA was wonderful. Dr Zand & her staff were friendly, informative & prompt! In the past, dentists have made me feel so ugly regarding my imperfect smile, pushing standard metal braces & teeth pulling (I am 26 & a nurse, no thanks!) Instead, Dr Zand reassured me she can easily fix my smile in a year, nothing painful or tell-tale involved. I can't wait to start Invisalign with her! Thanks!

Yesterday was my first appointment here and I was pleasantly surprised with the service. I normally hate going to the dentist but I was put at ease as soon as I got in. The entire staff if friendly and helpful. My daughter already has a pediatric dentist, but I think I will be bringing her here instead. Definitely recommend to everyone!
