Heather found her love for floral design while living in Reykavik, Iceland with her husband. For years, she studied music and performed in ensembles, but a draw to travel pulled her elsewhere. There was always a feeling and a drive for her to be independent, and once she discovered that love for flowers, the logical combination of creativity and owning a small business soon followed.

To say that Heather and her team are exceptional is an understatement. They brought my absolute floral dream to life for our wedding and were a joy to work with from beginning to end. She and her team and kind, knowledgeable, talented and they LISTEN to what their clients want. Her work brought me to tears on our wedding day more than once. Not to mentioned, they hauled our entire order all the way from Columbus to Akron! I cannot recommend them enough & truly miss her team dearly. Their work speaks for itself & is worth the investment. After having been booked with them for several years, they backed out on doing our wedding with 5 months until our date because there is a second wedding that weekend and they can’t do two wedding in the same weekend. Extremely unprofessional. We got our money back, sure, but is five months with two of those months begin the holiday season really enough time to find a replacement? I guess we will find out.

I wasn’t super sure what I wanted for my big day, but I knew I wanted EFC. Their Instagram is inspiring to say the least, and totally my style. Heather guided me through our options, and we ended up with a plan I was excited about. I was not ready for what I ended up with on my wedding day. The arch was gigantic and full of blooms and greenery! My bouquet was substantial and so gorgeous. All the flowers were in great condition, absolutely pristine. Thankfully the photographer took detailed shots of the designs, I love looking back at them.

One thing I know I will always remember about my wedding day will be the flowers. I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to flowers and I did not have a ton of ideas or preferences. Heather took my vague "I like this picture" and created something truly beautiful. Our reception venue looked like a fairytale garden and I wish I could get a weekly delivery of my bouquet. I received so many compliments on the flowers! I really appreciate Heather's creativity and ability to create something beautiful. She is also a great person and hard worker and I knew I was in good hands with her and her team

From the very first time I saw Heather's work (long before I was engaged), I knew that Evergreen Flower Co. was the only florist that could bring my wedding day vision to life. Shortly after my husband proposed, I listened to a podcast episode that interviewed Heather, the extremely talented, generous, & thoughtful owner of EFC. In the episode, she talked about her local sourcing methods and her commitment to unique designs, and my obsession with her work continued. I feel like just posting photos of Heather and Megan’s work could be a review in itself, but I need to also say a few words about how incredible they are as people. Heather and Megan’s creativity in designing the florals for our wedding was off the charts. They found a way to travel to Wisconsin from Ohio and make it work with product, and ran with the idea of using hops and made our venue/cake/bouquets/boutonnières look stunning. They are amazing floral designers, and even better people. I am so so happy we were able to work with Evergreen Flower Co, and we would make the same decision 1000
