Heads up everyone inflation is showing its ugly head in restaurants and the supermarkets. I just noticed a dish I usually order has gone up a $1.40 in price. And the dish I order is very simple with not too many ingredients. I can understand maybe $.50 to $1.00 increase but the $1.40 to me is a bit steep. I understand we just got over a pandemic but this restaurant has opened back up for dine in and every time I pass by this establishment its parking lot is full. So, now we have gas, groceries and restaurants to fight off the inflated prices.

Here's my grades for this restaurant: food quality = C; food quantity = B+; service = A-; ambience = B-; prices = C.
Plenty of parking and a lots of options. Richard, our waiter, was really the highlight of the experience. He was on his "A game". The food lacks authenticity but is good. Looks to have a full bar although I did not indulge. If I could I'd give a 3.5 overall review but it deserves 4 due to the great service.

Don't take the owner at his word. Due to family health/death issues I had a couple certs from shopping show. He said no problem, they never expire but when I went to use them he said he would not except. I would've traded in before shopping show changed names. I had quite a few. Glad I only had 2/3 left but I will NOT likely ever go in there again. Principles & someone's word means a LOT to me.Too bad , I liked but I'm a person of my word. Octavio's views are different.

They need to fire their waitress Pauline. I’ll explain.. I ordered the shrimp Alfredo. She tried to serve me the seafood Alfredo. She sent the incorrect dish back and then I had to wait for the correct one. We get the bill and she charged us for the seafood Alfredo ($19.99) when it was her mistake and I ordered the shrimp Alfredo ($16.99). We decided to not even bother trying to have her fix the bill. After everything, total bill was $65.17. After we had signed the bill and left, SHE FRAUDULENTLY INCREASED HER TIP BY $10!!! We saw it post to our bank next day for $75.17. Completely illegal and

My wife and I are foodies. We cook all the time and actually prefer our own cooking to eating out. Often, when at a restaurant, we'll look at each other and say, "We could make this at home, but better."
Not so with Marcellos. The food and the service are fabulous. Everything is full of flavor and served in just the right portion size. Can't recommend this restaurant strongly enough.

Working in Yuba City this weekend and felt like Italian. The Yelp reviews and menu photos brought me here - so thank you fellow Yelpers! Holy cow. This place is fantastic. In a desert of Olive Gardens and pizza joints, this old school ristorante was just what I needed. My server, Michaela, a recent transplant from San Diego, and was just perfect. I had the mussels appetizer, a side salad and a side of meatballs and am taking a meatball with me. Everything was REAL. And good. And I'll be back.

Came in for nice night out with wife and had a great time. Food was great and so were the drinks! Staff was very attentive and polite. Then at then end of our meal the chef came out and asked how our meal was told him had a great experience and then he held door open for me and my wife. Love the service and the food definitely recommend coming here. Will be repeating for sure!

Best Italian that you will get in this area. Nice size portions and friendly wait staff. The food is tasty and you can't go wrong with their Italian margarita. The decor is old style but I think that is the look they want---kind of homey Italian. Don't forget to have their zuppa toscana (almost as good as mine :-D).

We used to love coming here, but the service and atmosphere has definitely changed. Last night was disappointing. We were being seated and the hostess noticed that there were crumbs in the seat, so she went and got a tweet towel to clean the seats, but when I sat down, the seat was still wet :( Then we were told that our server would be right with us... it took much longer than usual. (Meanwhile, the 3 tables around us were being cleaned, all at once...which was really uncomfortable because we couldn't enjoy our time.) Our server finally came to take our drink order.. Staff was very friendly. Our server was very attentive. I had the Ribeye and fries. My wife had the Shrimp Alfredo. We split our dinners with each other. Food was excellent. Salad was also good but was a upgrade, would have been happier if it was included with dinner but worth the extra $5. The free bread was also excellent kinda made up for cost of the salad. All in all we were very satisfied and would strongly recommend you try Marcellos.

Took my mom here for Mother's Day 2021. What in the world has happened to Marcellos? I dined here two years ago for my birthday and had fantastic food and great service. Today, our waitress kept disappearing, forgetting things we asked for, food took forever then was not hot enough and tasted just ordinary - nothing special. We ate it because we were starving. It was not terribly busy in there, I don't understand why the poor service. I flagged down a busboy (I think he was a busboy) for the dessert menu. Waitress returns from her hiatus and takes our dessert order. Then disappears permanently

I haven driven by this restaurant on many occasions and made a mental note to try it. Last night we went there for dinner, and why the heck did I wait so long! The restaurant was super clean, and we were met with a friendly hello and promptly seated. Our waiter, Thomas, was wonderful and had a great sense of humor. The food was seriously awesome, large portions, delicious garlic bread and they make the best LIT this side of San Francisco. The chef/owner stopped by our table to make sure we were happy with his food. I will definitely be going back

Hey guys try out Marcello's here it's a local mom-and-pop Italian food but they do serve real Italian food that's not going to be the process food you can get food and stuff that is made by hand so stopping here grab a little bite to eat have a nice glass of wine and enjoy the old style atmosphere check it out

Delicious and hot!! We stayed in Yuba city for a work trip and we will be back to eat here on our next work trip. We were lucky to find this amazing restaurant. When we picked up our take out it was still steaming hot. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and the chicken was done perfectly, super moist in the center and crispy on the outside, my fiancé had the perfectly done cheese tortellini with robust sauce, my chicken parmigiana came with their mouth melting marinara. The salad was fresh, fantastically crisp, had a perfect blend of tomatoes, red cabbage and came with tasty homemade dressing. They

Incredible! Patricia was such a delight throughout our entire dining experience. The food was amazing - the fresh baked bread, house salads, the pasta, and especially the dessert. She made great recommendations and I am glad we listened. If you are looking for a local Italian restaurant, this is the place.
