This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic. They misrepresented what they were capable of doing and charged me more that $1,000 more than quoted. Instead of taking a week it took nearly three. Seriously, they have no idea what they are doing. They charged me $3,500 and explained after the work was done that they would not warranty the parts or labor. I wish I could give them Negative stars. Save your time snd money and RUN AWAY from these people.

I had these guys replace a work truck transmission and personal vehicle. The truck went on to live a happy life! My car unfortunately had an issue around 7k miles post rebuild. I called these fellas up and with no questions asked they had me bring it back in. I just picked it back up and they did need to repair a few things. All of this was covered by their in house warranty. Despite having an issue, I'd do business with any company that stands behind their work. Highly recommend!

My mother brought the vehicle here with out checking its reviews bad choice Do not go here I had my transmission replaced here 3 months later it acted up making same noise as before it was still under warranty so i took it back the gentlemen claimed they forgot to do something I also then was charged a towing fee because they couldn't do the work there (how are you an transmission shop but cannot do the job and how do you forget something ? sounds like rushing to me ) well 1 year 3 months later same noise came back my mechanic told me its the transmission so I brought car back to thompsons my warranty

This place is a joke they have pictures of 9 second cars cant even build a solid 4t65e with out it braking. There excuse that my tires are bald and I've been hot roding my tires are in good shape hella tred. They also charged me for the parts they didnt replace the first time the transmission broke so when it broke for the 3rd time they said it wasnt there doing they are scams and cant build a solid 4t65e will see how this one they just fixed works lol also took my warranty away so they probably did mess it up. Will not be recommending or ever going to this place again

Unfortunately I was not pleased with the customer service I received. I was originally quoted for services at $1,700 after I provided the specifics of rebuilding my 45re transmission(I even told them that the torque converter would need to be replaced and provided them with the service codes). They had the vehicle for 4 business days and once each day I contacted them for an update. I felt as if my attempts to receive information were treated as a burden to them even though I was paying for their services. I was not told anything other than “We’ll call you when it’s done”.
