HORRIBLE PLACE ‼️
The staff doesn’t treat your kid(s) with any type of respect & they allow the kids ,who frequently come there , to mistreat your kid(s) as well. Your child(ren) should be able to go there to receive proper care from staff members who genuinely have a passion to help them & make a difference . The kids shouldn’t be having any worries about being mistreated by anyone. Everytime you speak with your child they’re telling you how they’re not being treated right.If you’re looking for your child(ren) who struggles with mental health issues do NOT send them to Vermilion‼️‼️

Absolute worst experience of my entire life. The only thing they did was keep me alive. I was starving, freezing, left to walk around with menstrual fluids all over myself because it was not designated shower time (and even once that time came, they let the men go before women, so I was left to sit in blood longer). I saw a counselor TWICE. For maybe 15 minutes. Got zero help for my mental health conditions. Nurses were rude constantly. Thank GOD for the techs because they are the only ones who actually care. I spent a little time at Vermillion back in 2011 and the Staff was absolutely wonderful. Attention was given to each patient as well as many activities. The food was absolutely 5 star. My needs were attended to and I went on the next phase of my journey back then. Would highly recommend to anyone .....

Do not ever allow anyone to come here! My loved one came here, and communication is terrible. You can’t get through to anyone unless they are the ones calling you. No medical updates. They refuse to let you inside when your loved one is getting released. You are forced to sit outside to wait on them to sign papers. No notice prior to release to set up pickup of your loved one.

One of the worst hospitals I've ever had to deal with. Just go look on indeed at how many leadership positions are available, that is funny and should tell you something about this place. I do not recommend this place to anyone seeking treatment or employment. Something needs to be done to fix this crazy place.

Phenomenal staff, facility and as my son would say, meals!! The counseling was the absolute best! First I'll start off with the facility. Everything was super secure and confidential. Very clean, warm and welcoming. The staff were very professional yet really down to earth. I was encouraged to call as I needed and that's what I did. I could always get an update and or speak to my son just to reassure myself that he was okay. As a mother, I needed this. The medical doctors on site were very thorough. I've been here on 3 separate occasions and one of my immediate family members had to be admitted recently. The only problem is they are only allowing one person in to do admissions and there is no visitation allowed only by phone now. The staff has been honest about what has happened and has relayed all messages from me to said family member.

I was discharged today 8/6/19. I had a horrible experience. I would not recommend this hospital. Some staff are actually caring but for the most part most are just there for a pay check. State was there for inspections. They don't follow the rules and regulations only when an inspection is due. When rules and regulations should be followed all the time Period. Nurse on duty clearly stated before her nursing group that it's a business and that there main priority is to make money. They are under staffed and the staff is inadequately and poorly trained.
