Premier in-house therapy services are applied in a home-like setting for a quick recovery post-injury or surgery while preparing for your return home. Cutting-edge research and techniques in Alzheimer's and dementia care are utilized to maximize well-being in a safe, secure environment. Our family of professionals assumes the caregiver role to provide personalized comprehensive care in a comfortable, residential setting.

Recently we moved mom into Maison du Monde. She has walked further than she has in a year, has seen people she knows, met new people and played bingo. There are no words for how easy the staff made our decision and the move. Maison du Monde was my mother's home for a little over a year.
Services
Since Maison du Monde opened its doors in 2006, our community has been committed to continuous innovation and raising the standards of excellence in senior living. Conveniently located off the Highway 14 Bypass in Abbeville, Maison du Monde continues its legacy as a professionally managed community that is staffed by skilled members of the surrounding areas who work as a team and practice accountability.
Our experienced staff offers in-house physical, occupational and speech therapy for those with orthopedic, neurological and other diagnoses. In addition to physical strength, range of motion, balance and activities of daily living, our team of therapists will address cognitive, memory, social and emotional needs that derive from injury or illness.
Incorporating the latest and most advanced research and techniques, our Memory Care Unit is designed to have a home-like feel to create comfort and familiarity while maintaining a safe, social and secure environment. From secure entry doors and soothing colors throughout to outdoor patio areas and walking paths, our residents' safety, physical and psychological needs are our primary concern.
Working as a team of compassionate professionals, our staff formulates and updates personalized resident care plans, ensuring that each resident receives medical attention specific to physician orders while maximizing well-being and comfort. The nursing staff has the primary responsibility for day-to-day care.
