This is absolutely amazing in every way. We were able to book through Amex travel using our Amex platinum card and got great benefits. It's part of the Fine Hotels Collection and they currently offer $200 credit refund per year, $30/person for breakfast, and $100 credit toward dinner. Sophia's Lounge is their restaurant and the food is amazing. Early check in was a perk. Our room was ready by 1:30 pm. One issue we had was with the do not disturb button. There's a button you push inside the room that puts a small red light on outside of the room. I was trying to nap and two

My Husband and I had the most amazing stay! The beauty, character, and detail in our room created such a magical and cozy ambiance.
The room was so great there was really no need to leave. We sat on the perfectly placed balcony and were able to be right in the mix, see and hear all the amazing sounds & offering of the city without leaving the room.
Our food from the restaurant was amazing, our service from entering to exiting was exceptional. Specifically, Billy from valet went above and beyond! He was patient, even we so many people were coming to him in the midst of him helping us he continued

The rooms were beautifully decorated, and functional. It felt grand while maintaining a cozy feeling. The amenities were quality and well kept. The bathroom was luxurious. Most importantly, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet all night. I usually struggle to sleep away from my home but this was not the case here.
The location was very close to the center of Charlotte's night scene. I would certainly recommend this to anyone visiting Charlotte uptown.

I’m in love and thinking of moving in. This is the essence of the inner me and captures the playful chic that keeps you noticing something new at every glance. I can’t say enough and am excited to host our family here for Thanksgiving! Home.

Loved our stay at this beautiful hotel - my only regret is not having longer to stay in Charlotte. Staff was all so friendly and welcoming, especially valet Jacquise. (sorry if I mis-spelled!) The rooms are gorgeous. We would come back and stay again in a heartbeat!

The room service was nice, the room was clean, comfortable bed. the hotel's interior, and the mini bar in the room.
I didn't check the breakfast, but people told me it was ok.

The hotel valet parking service was awful and damaged my car. You can watch the videos of car's dashcam in youtube.

Beautiful hotel. The staff is the problem. My fiancé surprised myself, my sister and cousin with a 3 day stay here for my bachelorette weekend. We heard so many good things and were so excited to go. The night before, again since my fiancé booked it and I wasn't sure if it was partially paid/ paid in full so I called at 8:22 pm on Wed night and spoke to Julie. She re assured me everything was pre paid for, and was super friendly. I check in at 4, again with Julie. She reassured me everything again was paid in full,
Offering to print me out a full breakdown. I did need to put a different

Comfort, design, art, history, luxury, and hospitality are found in every facet of The Ivey's. The rooms are incredibly welcoming and very comfortable, complete with a cozy blanket that you want to wrap up in and just relax. The design is interesting, creative, and inspired. Every detail is exceptionally well done. The bed is a cloud, the chairs are ones you want to sit in and sip coffee in (they have Nespresso machines!), the bathroom is total luxury. Even the closet is well done, integrated into the room with beautiful molding and texture. The restaurant is charming with a living room feel. The

We live in Charlotte and love to come uptown to stay for an evening. We visited a few weekends ago and hands down, The Ivey's is my favorite hotel and we have stayed in them all. We've also stayed in several hotels around the globe and this hotel's comfort, ease, style (especially the decor), service, people, atmosphere were just what we needed. The wine bar for just guests upstairs to Sophia's Lounge also added to a perfect evening.

I have never stayed in a hotel room alone before, and this was the first time that I tried it. I have never felt more safe in my entire life. I stayed in a big corporate hotel with my mom in a conjoined room, and felt very unsafe. Here, I had my own room, my dad four rooms down from me, and I slept just as well as if I was in my own bed. for starters, the room was extremely luxurious, the snack bar was super tempting so I definitely gave in! I loved how the lights had dimmers, and there was a nice little reading lights next to my bed that I used as a nightlight and it works perfectly. The black

This place deserves more than 5 stars! Everything from check-in to check-out was excellent! Everyone we came in contact with were VERY gracious and courteous. Beautiful hotel. The valet attendants were always courteous and always met us with a smile and positive attitude. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here if and when we go back to Charlotte. The management of this hotel should be very proud of their staff.

The Ivey's hotel was a wonderful hotel, great rooms, the decor was what you would expect and of course located in a great area. What went wrong? One person. Upon checking in on Thu we found the lady at desk having to answer phones and answer questions from other workers keeping her too busy to fully engage with us. Our room was not ready and she told me she would call us, I told her I needed to park my car and she said the valet would take it. I then told her I had called yesterday and asked if it was okay for me to park my car. I told her a guy had told me yes. Thats when she said I

I do not recommend you staying here at least in 2020.
Last night there was no security and we were chased into our hotel through the boutique and up the stairs but a crazy black man. He tried to punch the valet in the police report.
There are relatively no amenities at this time so your better off staying at a place with security and breakfast if they have it.
We even tried to watch movies and none were available on our TV.
I believe people need to know about this.

I will say as decor it was very beautiful but that really didn't matter on this trip.

This place wanted to charge me and my brother more money because we stood outside and watched the protests , that were friendly. .
Tyler was working that night. They stated I Tried to start a riot asi watched the protest outside. Because, I didn't participate? ( pure evil, respect everyone's beliefs)
I stood on the door step of the hotel and have three videos with the security guard. (Rob). Also a picture of a great African American couple that loved us and hung out. I also smoked cigarettes with the security staff.
This is what makes me wonder, business has been down for a while

This is easily a 5 star hotel! Best in Charlotte in my opinion. The rooms are top notch. We had the king with a city view. Very spacious for a city hotel. Bathroom had a shower fit for tall people like myself. Also a big tub in the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Fully stocked bar and fridge with snacks. Big TV with Bose soundbar.

The location of the Iveys is pretty much in the center of Charlotte. Plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance. Also, a Starbucks a few doors down. There is an awesome cocktail bar on the second floor for guests only. They do a complimentary wine and cheese

EXCELLENT!! Exceeded all expectations. Hidden gem in Charlotte that has us excited to come back simply to stay at The Ivey. Rooms are very, sexy and swanky. Beds are very cozy and the robes & slippers are a nice touch. Gym was better than most hotel gyms. Huge perk is the complimentary happy hour which offers beer, wine and snacks in their library lounge. Service was excellent from valet, reception staff, housekeeping to library lounge bartender. Walking distance to all the bars, restaurants and shops too. 100% better than the chain hotels, which actually cost more the night I stayed at The

If you ever want to feel like a celebrity for a night, this is your one stop shop to make it happen. A friend and I decided to have a girls night out that included a stay at this stunning property.

I made our reservation a number of weeks in advance using a 3rd party site. As such, I am unable to speak to the actual reservation process. I called the morning of to see if we could get an early check in- as it is not until 4pm. They advised they only had a handicap room available at that time. We wanted a traditional room so we opted to wait.

Upon arrival I noted that the only parking available

What an amazing boutique hotel. Stayed here for business for about a week and the staff, decor, food, rooms, and location all get an A+++. First experience is walking into a very intimate reception area. It didn't look like an office but rather a very nice home office. Patrick was incredibly professional, friendly, and unflappable.

Grace in the library is amazing. We got in early so had good conversation and she volunteers to make us a special custom coffee. It was absolutely delicious but her kindness spoke volumes.

Pure opulence. Five stars for decor and overall decorative features.
However, the continental breakfast was just okay, in-room snacks and water came with a hefty price tag, and the Library Lounge was not maintained and refreshed regularly. A nice hotel for a weekend getaway though.

Stayed here for only one night for a concert at The Spectrum Center. The location is very convenient and we were able to easily walk to the event. The staff is very friendly! They even escorted us to our room to give us a little tour. The decor was stunning and the view of the city streets was amazing!

Only down side is that I wish the bedding was much softer :(

But I still would recommend this place!
