By the time he was five years old, Todd Zink knew he wanted to become a veterinarian. Since birth, he had been surrounded by all types of animals-dogs, cats, ducks, fish, hamsters, and even chameleons, cockatiels, and Amazon parrots! Such a colorful menagerie of pets instilled a love of animals in Todd from a very young age.

Dr Zink is amazing with our big “difficult” dog. He is so patient and matter of fact with him. Even though our pup tends to be nervous around strangers we have never had an issue with Dr Zink and are so grateful with the way he handles him. When Otto was diagnosed with oral cancer- Dr Zink went above and beyond to refer us to specialists, support us and help us find information on how to treat and care for our dog. We called with a sick cat and was able to be squeezed in the same day. Our cat received wonderful care and was feeling better soon. The staff was friendly and caring. The doctor gave us great advice and let us go with options he offered, and was quick to call with lab results. It was awesome to get a call from the staff the next day to see how our cat was doing. We could not be happier with this office.

From the minute I called this place, I knew we had our forever vet. Julie answered the phone and she was SUPER friendly, sweet, and patient. She answered all my questions and reassured me about what the first vet visit would be like for my cat. Julie also asked lots of questions about my Lily so as to make sure they provided her with the proper care. We talked for probably about 10 minutes. I could tell she really cares about every pet that visits and making sure no details are missed! She then scheduled my appointment and I came in a couple days later. Had to put down my dog today. Being the day after Christmas they were busy. Yet they fit us in and made us feel like a priority on this difficult day. The staff and veterinarian have been making us feel like a priority for more then just this day. Calling us after hours to give us updates, being able to answer questions as well as giving great recommendations. We have a cranky, aggressive Chihuahua, an overly excitable Pitbull and a slightly neurotic Shepherd mix, and Roselle Animal Hospital has taken excellent care of all of them. Just last week my Shepherd mix couldn't keep any food or water down due to a possible blockage. Dr. Zink did emergency surgery on her within an hour of bringing her in. She is now doing well thanks to the compassionate care from the entire staff.

I have been a client for 15+ years, and ever since Dr. Zinc took over ownership, I’ve had nothing but negative experiences there with my three dogs. The final straw was Zinc prescribing a medication to my dog with a chronic seizure disorder that has two main side effects...unsteadiness and high risk of seizures. She had two seizures within the past… 4-5 hours due to this. I had finally gotten her to a point where her seizures were spaced out every 4-5 weeks as opposed to every 3-4 days like before. This can only be explained by pure and utter incompetence by the prescribing veterinarian
