We listen carefully to our clients and design each wedding from scratch. Introductory level private classes focusing on the art of creating stylish, seasonally-inspired centerpieces.
Class fees include demonstration, instruction, set up/clean up, and all materials (including fresh flowers). After each class, you will be able to take home your own newly-designed centerpiece!

Wisteria opened its doors for the first time in 1993 in historic Old Town, Alexandria where it operated as a full-service floral design shop with unique gifts, interior pieces, and speciality items. In 2002, Stephanie moved Wisteria to a new art and design studio (dubbed "The Studio") in the Mount Vernon area of Alexandria to better focus on individualized customer service, the artistry of her craft, as well as spend more time with her family.
Wisteria offers a wide range of floral services for the workplace including weekly arrangements for lobby areas, special gifts for corporate clients, and floral arrangements and table centerpieces for catered events. Corporate florals are priced individually. Personalized Birthdays, Anniversaries, Thank-You's, Get-Wells, Holiday celebrations, expressions of condolences - and so much more - are created daily in The Studio.

Stephanie from wisteria was amazing! I asked her what I wanted and to stay within wedding budget because clearly weddings are a fortune. She delivered without any issues and the flowers looked beautiful! We worked together to get the budget to what I want without looking cheap. She's also just the sweetest woman always available during my wedding week craze. She was super Flexible on pick up and drop off for the wedding day. I would definitely recommend her again for a special event!

We loved working with Stephanie for our wedding last month. We didn't have a lot of knowledge about types of flowers, etc and she had great ideas and gave us a lot of guidance. What she came up with really matched our vision and we received many compliments on our flowers. I definitely recommend Stephanie and Wisteria!

While speaking with a friend who asked me what florist I used for my wedding, I was prompted to write a review of my experience. Stephanie was very nice and welcoming to my husband and me. While I'm not the best at planning these type of things, I put my full trust in her. Looking back on it, I wish I would've stood up for my wishes a little more than I did.
There were a few times during our meeting that Stephanie was dismissive and rude in reaction to my ideas or wishes. The faces she made were a bit insulting. I just wish she could've been a little more delicate about telling

While shopping around for a wedding florist, Stephanie immediately won my trust during the consultation. Unlike the other florists I visited, she asked me about the color of my dress (bright white or ivory), my bridesmaid dresses, and any other details needed to bring my vision to life (which she successfully did). All of the bouquets, flowers, and centerpieces were lush, fresh, and fabulous. Everyone wanted to know what flowers we used!
