Simple things take to long. They do not seem to be interested in small issues. I would go there again.

As usual...these guys save the day!!! Great mechanics, and really good people!

The reason for the five starts is because I was not given the chance to rate the quality of the work and fairness of the price so, I can't give a fair and objective opinion about those things. I'm not trying to make any body look bad. It just makes me wonder if there is a protocol that, we as customers need to fallow for a repair shop to take us as customers
I visited this shop because some one recommended it.
I walked thru the door, I did not see anyone at the little receiving area but, a man came behind me and asked me if I needed something. I proceeded to explain to him what I needed done

Service was outstanding it's hard to find a shop that provides high quality workmanship. They have done exhaust work on two of my vehicles great work each time. They will be doing the custom exhaust on my z28 in the near future I can't wait to do business with them the work is that good.

Family owned business in Beacon for decades now. They are very good at what they do, and most of all honest which is the most important thing anyone should want in a mechanic. you might not get the sense that they are a very warm and funny pair. But when you get to know them and vice versa, they are something else.

Lanks is an old school shop where Josh and his son treat you like adults - they are honest and make sure the repair is done correctly. I've had our cars there on several times - the repair is done and done well. I highly recommend!

We were in town for a funeral when our car broke down. They were able to fit us in before closing and safely get us back on the road. Their kindness excellent service was a great relief during our time of need!

This place has taught me that terrible service will stay terrible, and to not expect that when you treat people with respect, they will do the same. You get a gross "boys' club" feeling and the impression that they don't give a f- about your time.

I was never given honest time updates, never apologized to for waiting, never told my car was ready, was quoted very high prices and then dismissed when I questioned them, and always spoken to very rudely and defensively on the phone.

Our suburban was stuck in traction mode and it turned out it mostly just needed a reset. Tried a few other places who told us they couldn't look at it til next week. All we were asking was for someone to look at it and let us know if we needed to get a rental car or if it was a quick fix. Turns out it was a quick fix situation and we were back on the road. I don't understand why other mechanics won't even look at the car! Thank you

From my 'rusty and not so trusty' Jeep Cherokee to my beloved Mercedes Kompressor, Lank's Automotive has kept my cars both safe and enjoyable. Just recently, he replaced some suspension parts and my car drives like new! He's an honest mechanic, some shops will take advantage of the kind of car you drive and mindlessly up-charge. His estimate was in line with my research, he itemized the repair cost upon our first interaction, the repairs were done in a reasonable timeframe, with the Thanksgiving holiday and all...and picking up my car so effortless. He is a trusted service advisor

Wonderful honest local shop. It feels like old school when people just did what you needed and treated you like the neighbor you are. Highly recommended by locals and you can see why. No BS charges or unnecessary drama. We will be taking all of our vehicles here even for minor things because having a good mechanic is a rare and precious find!

I came to know Lank's Auto while working at my previous employer. I sold parts for a dealership at the time and every time they called for a part, they said "send it over." What's different about that is most of my other customers, only called about a price because in truth they weren't sure if that would fix the car or needed to run it by the customer. Given that Lank's never returned parts it told me two things; the first they can properly diagnose car and the second is their customer trust them. I say that because Josh or JJ usually knew the customer well enough

Had to make an unplanned pitstop on our trip from NH to PA due to a hot brake smell and a high pitch squeal that began while we were driving. After self-diagnosing on the internet that a brake caliper was most likely stuck, we decided to get a hotel room and find a mechanic in the area.
Preferring to find a local mechanic instead of going to one of the chains, I looked around online and found Lank's, which opened at 6:30 - earlier than a few others that I checked out. I called at 7 and took my car in at 7:30.
There was only 1 guy working the morning I was there. He checked out my brakes

Extremely rude, as soon as she answered they said " what do you want?" i said excuse me, and she stated "you called me! so tell me what you want?" i am a company in san diego that was referring a customer, customer service is key to success, if they answer the phone that rude, imagine how they back up their service, beware! horrible customer service
